What salary do you think is a good salary for a family living in either PH,Lag or ABJ

We talk about salary level but never productivity level.

no salary is enough except you have 2 or 1 child and keep investing in your skills/education

Except you're earning 200k monthly and you see 10 to 20k daily from side hustle...... Abuja is a difficult place to survive with the rental issues and distance to work.

Portharcourt is a fine place to stay if you are smart and probably earn between 200k to 300k and your choice of residential area matters in both states.

You dont have to put any amount down to drive your point home. When you don start your company, begin dey pay your staffs 500m every month. Then everybody will be happy

I saw a thread about 3 weeks ago about airpeace or so pilot salaries and it ranged from 500k to 2m for the experienced ones.
See how people were rubbishing the salary yet the funny thing is that many of those looking down on such never earn close to that nor do they have a business they are paying workers up to 200k per month sef. That is if they have any in the first place.
I don't know were this entitlement is coming from honestly for a very very poor country fa

It is lifestyle inflation.
I deserve a better car
I think my children needs a more quality school to upgrade to.
My house is too far from work and too much traffic, I think I need to move to a closer area that fits my status.

People who have never had the money have the most to say. That was how they looked down on senior associates at the BIg4 earning 1.1m. Or when they respond to someone who has saved the equivalent of 45m in the UK seeking a return to Nigeria. You read "45m is not money o", "The 30m go quick finish o".

None of them has 10m in liquid cash!!!! None! None works at any of such firms or has a thiving business that has generated a similar amount.

Our people are too arro gantly igno rant! I think it is mostly with southerners, or fraud money makes them think there is one magic tree where money grows.

There is no specific salary because living standards differ, employee positions are different, and industries, skill sets and companies are also different. The best is a national or location-specific (preferable) economic class categories to know if one is in either the middle class or lower or upper.

But specific salary? It does not exist because humans are different.

I agree you shouldn't be broke if you earn 300k and set your priorities right but honestly, 300k in real life is not as big as the 300k on paper.

U could be left with only 130k per month to manage with ur family

I perfectly understand you bro.
I know people who earn 3m per month and are virtually close to brokeness.
Sometimes, they even call me for soft loans.
In present day Nigeria, a man will struggle with 300k if he doesn't have some projects done already like house, car etc.
To save and do those - buy land, build house etc will render the money useless
