Excerpts from Cardianlstone weekly MEP reports: Meanwhile, FTSE Russell announced the inclusion of Nigeria on its watch list for potential reclassification from unclassified to frontier market status, a move that reflects growing confidence in the country’s improving foreign exchange environment and ability to facilitate capital repatriation. The index provider will review Nigeria’s status again in March 2026, and if the reclassification is confirmed, we expect it to enhance Nigeria’s visibility to global investors and potentially attract renewed inflows from passive funds tracking FTSE Frontier Market indices. This week, we anticipate selective buying in the market as investors position ahead of Q3’25 earnings releases. We will closely monitor market movements for attractive entry points, particularly in fundamentally strong names. If necessary, midweek changes will be made, with updates communicated through the Daily Market Summary to ensure the portfolio remains optimally positioned."

Gold Rally, Crypto Crash, and the Case for Japaul (NGX: JAPAULGOLD) Buy Recommendation 1️⃣ Flight to Safety – From Crypto to Gold • The October 2025 crypto crash, triggered by renewed Donald Trump tariff announcements and a global risk-off wave, caused a massive liquidation of digital assets like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. • Investors, governments, and high-net-worth individuals are now shifting capital from volatile assets (cryptocurrencies) into stable stores of value, familiar assets such as gold and gold-linked equities. • For Nigerian investors, this global rotation is timely: as the new tax policy and inflationary pressures create local uncertainty, gold remains a proven hedge and a trusted safe-haven. Gold’s Safe-Haven Strength • Spot Gold (XAU/USD): Surged past $4,000/oz, • CURRENT PRICE :: 4155 • now up roughly +55% YTD, as risk-averse investors seek stability. • • This reflects a global flight to safety, reinforced by central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and institutional investors diversifying away from the U.S. dollar. • The rally is not speculative — it is a structural shift driven by inflation, monetary easing expectations, and global geopolitical tension. Gold Producers: Outperforming the Metal See Attached Photo Gold mining equities have delivered outsized returns in 2025 due to fixed operating costs and expanding profit margins at higher gold prices. Gold miners’ equities have more than doubled the metal’s return, confirming their operating leverage advantage. Why This Rally Isn’t a Blip • Central Banks: Increasing gold reserves to hedge currency and political risk. • Institutions & HNWIs: Accumulating gold after sanctions and market volatility. • Policy Uncertainty: Nigeria’s new tax regime and global tariff tensions support sustained demand for safe-haven assets. • Inflation: Persistent across major economies, reinforcing gold’s value-retention appeal. This combination suggests a long-term structural uptrend, not a short-lived rally. Japaul Gold & Ventures Plc (NGX: JAPAULGOLD) — The Nigerian Proxy • Ticker: JAPAULGOLD • Market Cap: ₦37–₦38 billion • EPS (TTM): ₦0.12 P/E: ~22× Dividend (FY 2024): ₦0.04/share • Position: The only NGX-listed company with direct exposure to gold mining through subsidiaries Covenant Gems Ltd and H&H Mines Ltd. • Opportunity: Rising gold prices expand Japaul’s profit margins and valuation potential, while local investors gain regulated exposure to the global gold rally. Investor Takeaway • The crypto collapse and policy uncertainty are accelerating a flight toward safer, income-generating assets like gold. • Gold miners have delivered 100%+ returns YTD, confirming that equities tied to gold outperform the metal itself. • Japaul Gold & Ventures Plc (NGX: JAPAULGOLD) stands as Nigeria’s sole listed beneficiary of this structural shift. ✅ Recommendation: BUY – JAPAULGOLD (NGX) For Nigerian investors seeking exposure to the global gold supercycle, Japaul offers leveraged upside, inflation protection, and long-term growth potential. Recommendation: BUY – JAPAULGOLD (NGX)

Is any part of my analysis based on false or made-up information? When I gave my BUY recommendation on MeCure in June 2025 at ₦11.50, did the stock appreciate or not? Has MeCure not moved from ₦11.50 to ₦28 — a gain of over +143% in a space od 3 months? Are my recommendations not backed by data, research, and verifiable company fundamentals? YES BUYERS SHOULD BEWARE OF MAKING ANOTHER +100% IN PROFITS ppogba: |
