Please I have tried but nothing Is working. This started when I was 15 years now I am over 40s. This is the bad attitude I got from my dad. I am afeaid of going out for fear of being mocked . Instead I sleep and stay indoors everyday. I have lost real sense of living. I still stay with my parents. My only source of living is betting. I am a graduate and I struggled to graduate due to my low self esteeem |

The introversion is not a problem. The lack of self-drive and ambition is the problem. If 5 years ago, you decided on what you wanted to be today, and you stayed inside the house pursing that vision, you'd be top in your field today. And there's nothing like "family pattern", you didn't grow in an ambitious environment, but you're already of age now. Build your own environment. |

You can immediately seek professional mental health treatment. ![]() Another way to begin battling it yourself is by changing a couple of things about the way you live. Ibtxxo:Being a homebody is not a problem. Your problem is your lack of “basic” goals. How did something as basic as getting a job slip pass you till 40? Well its never too late, start a small business or get a job fast than join a church. At the church become a dedicated worker, I believe these two - job/business and church will help you rebalance. Create a social network. Don’t ever think its too late, as a man even 50s is not too late. I have thought of it most of us are chasing the same thing - financial freedom and progency. A man that started a good job at 25 fit no see N100 million till 50 while someone at 40 starts his life within 1 year he see N100 million legit. My point is do away with lazy, start your race. |
