In other words, you are asking if it will reduce the price of bread, mudu of garri, and cup of rice?

Since this is good news to the economy in terms of job creation and economy growth, you are already sad at hearing the good news because it does not suit your agenda.
They wont see rest and peace

All these you have written is nonsense. I did not elect any government to provide me with any goddam enabling environment. Is it why governments are elected? The role of any government is to provide its citizens with necessities of life like quality health care, education, security, power supply, drinking water etc etc. Not all these nonsense capitalist ideas of government providing so-called enabling environment and the citizens should do the rest.
By the way, you guys keep saying that the government's policies are on the right direction and you people always fail to mention a single one of those so-called right policies. Not a single power generating plant has been build since buharis government uptil now, which is what truly matters if you are to industrialize, and in so doing create millions of jobs. Ajaokuta steel company is still comatose and dead, and industrialization is not possible without a functional steel industry. The list is endless jor.
If what you mean by right policies is the floating of the naira to the mercy of the markets and speculators, removal of subsidies on literally everything, refusing to increase the national minimum wage but instead only the executive and legislative branches enjoying enormous pay , not a single national public transport system in operation and yet the president buying a brand new presidential jet costing atleast 150million dollars, 5 billion naira yatch etc etc those are nothing but policies of an economic hitman, sent to commit the treasonable crime of destroying his own country's economy.
I stopped reading your rebuttal at the first paragraph. Everything you claim the government is not elected for, you ended up confirming.

Do you even understand what "ENABLING" environment means?

I terminate further discussion with you on this basis. We are simply far apart intellectually, no pun intended.

Lol, I don't understand his type of thinking, demanding everything good from a government without looking into how the government will generate revenue to run all those program he is clamoring for. This forum has gone down badly in terms of intellectual capabilities of the users.

Michelin coming back is a good thing but does that translate to better life for the populace that have long been bastardized by all the anti - human policies of this rudderless government?
Simple answer: yes. If you have any further questions then go and study economics.

This is a not a cowbell competition .. its not about who know more
Not even the professors from harvard or oxford can undermine the cruciality of " feasibility and viability " on any business

Knowledge is not classified cheesy what reason can a company be coming back if not to make money/gains

You know whats more funnier, the time Michel left Nigeria is even better than now ... the news said " planning" no be say dem don come sef .. you wan count ur chicks b4 dey hatch gudluck

Audio Audio... grin
They are not even planning to return to production, this is deceptive reporting, of course I'm not surprised, e-bots at it again. This is shameful and shameless at the same time. The economy doesn't sustain profitable investments and no foreign company will risk coming to invest in it, fact. Even Dunlop cannot even dream of returning talk less of Michelin.

The article initially said "Though the company has not announced plans to reopen a factory, according to the news report, ‘it wants to rebuild its brand visibility, strengthen local presence, and position Nigeria as a key growth hub in Sub-Saharan Africa.”

Then the writer runs to the end of the article and adds "...and confidence already built by the current government’s bold policies of economic reforms, ongoing road construction and infrastructure projects which have created new opportunities in heavy-duty and off-road segments, must have inform the company’s decision to fully return to the country.".

Where did they say they are fully returning to the country? Na wa oh...

The delusions of a failed government knows no bounds, they lie to themselves and Force themselves to believe their lies, but then whatever rocks their boat.
Comot from here jare.

No joy bad belle people.

Some of you 'die-hards of this Govt' lack shame!
Michellin left Nigeria 18yrs ago and in that 18yrs, rudderless leaders have not been able to set-up a Tire manufacturing Plant in Nigeria.
Now you are jubilating that this is good News, that your Colonizers are coming back to colonize you a second time!

Slave! Slave!! Slave!!

I would have said what Elisha told the King's closest servant to happen to you, but I remembered you have a family. You can't wish nothing good for the country and anything good will happen to you. As you have claimed this good news is audio, so will every good thing to happen to the rest of us as the country progresses be audio when he reaches your turn. You go hear am you no go grab am. I did curse you, you use your mouth to say so.
You are propagating falsehood, and you are here talking about wishing good or whatever it is you are talking about.
You bloody liars. It's okay to lie to yourselves, because that what you do, it makes you feel good. But to lie to others, and expect everyone to just join the train of delusional e-bots will not work.
Enjoy the lies, as for me I work with facts. A company said they are looking for brand visibility, you are writing that they are planning to fully make a comeback, something the article clearly stated to be false.
Well a cause less curse flies by like bird.
You are no different from false prophets, all because of 2k.
Talking about news that will never materialize, I insist, show me where Michelin said they are making a full comeback to the country or forever hold your peace... Nonsense liars

A lot of Nigerians don't like reading, if when they do, they read to reply not to comprehend. Some just have comprehension issues, they read but they don't understand what they have read. So much for educated people

You said it all… most of them don’t want anything good for Nigeria. They are happy Nigeria is like this and prefer it should remain so. A manufacturing company is planning to come back and you’re still asking how it will favour the people?. May God give a lot of Sense to these evil people who are just hating for no reason.
