I have never been treated badly in a friend's house though. Maybe because i always respect boundaries whenever i visit in your home.

The thing is, am too sensitive. If i notice that my appearance is overwhelming you in your place, i limit my presence. You dont need to give me a vivid sign or too many signs!

My best friends late father calling me in 2012 September to His death bed to tell me his last wish and testament for the family which I must follow through because he saw I was tougher and more reliable than his son my best friend.

When u are are call to pick ur food at the kitching and watch grandma toile after you finish eating.

His mother started keeping a plate of food for me if I am not around, and we eat together when I am around. Then when my friend gained admission and resume school, I stopped going to the house regularly, then his mother started sending his kid sister to my house with plate of food.

Maybe in West Africa your friends are free to walk in and out of your homes as they please , but not where I'm from... We view a household as a private sanctuary where no one can just come in as they please at whatever time they wish... And where did I say family members are not welcome in my place?

I have no issues with friends visiting me as long as they don't turn coming to my place into a habit, unless we hang out somewhere outside the house or go out.

Back home in my family house we have one patio, one deck, two verandas, and one porch coupled with some trees for our friends... We only let them indoors when the weather is bad outside.

we are not talking about friends but best friend..one not many..everywhere i know best friend become family cos it means your partner in crime, your go to person...a best friend that is not free in your house is not your best friend but ordinary friend or maybe your close friend...

First and foremost, I suspected he was telling his wife negative things about me but when I started noticing something was wrong was when I visit him, his wife would tell me he's not around

Most times, I turn back but later on, I suspected he would be at home while his wife would tell me otherwise

There was one day the wife told me he wasn't around and a part of me was telling me that he was inside. To satisfy my curiosity, I asked his children and they both chorused to me that their daddy was inside.. This happened for about three times until I started withdrawing myself because I don't like to stay where I'm not honoured or valued

Now, me and that my friend are no longer in good terms.. He snitched me badly and plotted evil against me

One big lesson I've got to learn in life is that there's no best friend anywhere. Your wife and your children are your best friends
