If this week is seen as a green week @ All Share Index,
There is nothing to fear over the stocks that loss in the week because this week presented good opportunities for cherry picking.

If Oando is able to raise all the capital needed in the forthcoming public offers, the price will skyrocket beyond N200.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe:
I don't know. Sorry to disappoint. But since we're talking long term, current valuation is less of an issue, so let's consider the businesses. Maybe then you can decide.

FCMB is an established national bank that makes roughly 60% of revenue from interest from loans, 25% from securities trading, and 15% from fees. They are making a big push to increase fee income through digital services.
VFD is an upstart investment firm that makes 95% of revenue from investments, including illiquid private businesses, and 5% from fees.

Knowing this, which one do you think is more likely to be around in 10 years? Which could flourish more? Which would you prefer to own?

It is the news of additional 40% acquired in ND Western by Aradel. Such news will surely lead to price jump.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ogawisdom(m): 4:54pm On Oct 24, 2025
I have been saying buy Aradel here since it was 510 now it will certainly cross 1200 next week. Full bid loading grin Don't say I did not do anything for you. grin

Not late at 800 though another seplat in few years.

I need to add more units myself, what I have now looks insufficient given the massive capital appreciation ahead.

Better to sell off some Oando units by end of 2026 and wait to see what happens in 2027 election because nothing is sure.

If this comes true, it means Aradel becomes the majority shareholder of Renaissance Energy with over 50% holding. This is massive! So it is Aradel that has been masquerading as Renaissance! Why did I sell off part of my Aradel holding? huh huh huh

mikeapollo:
I pray Aradel keeps going up and even enter N1k and higher. So Seplat and Aradel would be selling in N'000.
With that, other upstream oil companies can also easily join them in that league once they clean their books and start paying good dividends.
I did not mention any company, so don't come bash my team and our ''prophet'' ooo! grin grin
That "prophet of OANDO * is quite for long time now?

Investors question Nigeria’s new CGT push after call with Oyedele

https://businessday.ng/news/article/investors-question-nigerias-new-cgt-push-after-call-with-oyedele/

Nigeria is tripling CGT for foreign equity investors, raising concerns that the move may trigger a sell-off in the West African nation’s stock market, which is up almost 50 percent this year.

Foreign investors emerged from a virtual investor call with Nigeria’s fiscal reform chair, Taiwo Oyedele, with more concerns than reassurance, a development that could rattle sentiment toward the country’s equity markets.

Several institutional investors who were on the call characterised Oyedele’s tone as unexpectedly ideological. One participant decried the framing: “He basically said the bottom 97 percent cannot pay tax, so the government should focus on the 3 percent to fund the state.” Some argued the remarks deviated from market givens, stressing that capital markets demand nuance and predictability.

Of course there will always be opportunities in this market but one thing is to know when the opportunity is at its peak.

As you said you have learnt not to chase a moving train.
Also learn to make good use of opportunity.
There are some opportunities that will not repeat same again in life.
Nacho was once at N2 and presented opportunity for investors, today it's no more at that level and can't come to that level again as long as the company keeps improving.

All I am saying is don't because opportunities abound and you missed the critical ones.

You are doing well using Pa Emma method
Me that is waiting for Japaul at 1:50k if at all I'll buy it

Like I said in an earlier post, I hope this Taiwo Oyedele does not mess up his own reputation after he might have allowed himself to be used for this CGT nonsense. Now foreign investors are kicking.

This December may be really red if something is not done about this CGT

Go and ask Agba your friend how long he has waited for Gtb.
He is now forced to replace Gtb with broke Access bank.
Such is life.

You are waiting for Japaul at 1.50.Thats fine.
Maybe you will be the next Agba and may exchange Japaul with a broke company Japaul is better than.

Nothing is impossible.
We have our goals and we also catch funs to make ourselves happy at Nsempa.
