They're doing well but electrc cars will surely reduce the quest for PMS ...though its environmental friendly but how will Nigeria make money from crude oil ,if electric car takeover the roads worldwide |

It is a welcome development, durability is my ultimate concerns looking at the fragility of the car. The way it moves and builds make me to doubt if the car will last long.. |

Pootle:I created many threads about electric and CNG vehicles, but people kept coming to say that they were impossible in Nigeria. Today many states are deploying electric and CNG buses. Today many companies are deploying electric and CNG taxis. Today many large companies like Dangote are deploying CNG and electric vehicles for their operations. And the people that said that it was impossible have vanished. |

| Re: LAMATA Explores Local EV Manufacturing With SAGLEV by OkanlawonB(m): 2:39pm On Oct 25, 2025 |
naptu2:The reality is that it is not what you say that matters but the feedback of those that have been using these types of Vehicles in Nigeria. Using these types of vehicles in Nigeria will come with a lot of challenges that is peculiar to our nigerian environment. I have used both before and still using an EV but in Europe and i can imagine the peculiar challenges anyone will face using these in Nigeria. It will be more interesting to hear the candid feedback of those with a nigerian personal experience. |

Nobody is talking about the price of the vehicle...currently beyond the reach of most Nigerians especially where there's no long term payment plan |

Inspirer1:This thread is about LAMATA (the Lagos State transport operator) planning to collaborate with Saglev to manufacture public transport buses for Lagos. Do people who use BRT worry about the cost of buying BRT buses?? |

A plot around the area is still around 3m, and on 33kva It's closer to gberigbe, ikorodu than imota itself, and was formally Ogidiga herbal drink site. Investing around there isn't a bad deal |

Pootle:The more densely populated an area is, the better for EV charging and charging business. Also the closer to office area where owners can park it under solar charger stations while they work, the better and cheaper and even cleaner the charging process. |

Inspirer1:It's a post from another thread. The post is simply introducing the company (location, etc). The thread is about public buses for LAMATA, that's why nobody is talking about the price of the vehicle. |

| Re: LAMATA Explores Local EV Manufacturing With SAGLEV by Konquest: 4:01am On Oct 26, 2025 |
naptu2:Saglev needs to do more publicity to gain more traction in terms of sales. The use of hybrid vehicles (EVs and CNG-fueled vehicles) in a Lagos State and indeed Nigeria as a whole would be a game changer. |
