Cyprian213:The good place to start is making research and learning what stock is. There is YouTube and there are currently Instagram accounts that teaches about stock investments. That's a good place to start. Learn before you earn. There are also apps that you can use to invest like Bamboo, troves etc. Meanwhile, web3 trading exchanges like Bitget that is now universal exchange that trades crypto and Stocks are good place to buy tokenized stocks. I look forward to a time when they will also list Nigerian stocks. For now, I'll stick with trading U.S stocks listed on Bitget and participating in their ongoing events to trade stocks and earn rewards. |

OUTLOOK AND INVESTMENT STRATEGY Short Term Outlook (1 to 2 Weeks): The NGX All-Share Index is poised for continued upside, testing the 158,000 resistance level, buoyed by strong performance in the industrial and oil and gas sectors. Key catalysts include positive foreign portfolio inflows and easing inflation which supports consumer spending. However, risks from global oil price volatility and potential profit-taking in the banking sector could cap gains, leading to mild consolidation around the 154,000 support level. The overall bias is bullish with a 60 percent probability of a further 2 percent appreciation. Medium Term Outlook (1 to 3 Months): Sector rotation is expected to favor industrials and commodities, driven by government infrastructure spending , foreign exchange stability, reform etc. Earnings growth in the telecoms and cement sectors is expected to underpin the rally, though election-related uncertainties may introduce volatility. Tactical Positioning: Overweight Sectors:Industrial Goods, Oil and Gas. Neutral Sectors:NGX 30, Pension. Underweight Sectors:Consumer Goods, Insurance (let us see if earnings will rescue some of them), ASeM. **CONCLUSION** The Nigerian Exchange Limited delivered robust gains of 4.48 percent for the week, driven by a surge in the industrial goods sector, particularly cement leaders, on the back of infrastructure tailwinds. Medium-term positioning favors an overweight in cyclicals, with attractive opportunities identified in XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX for growth. Key risks include ongoing weakness in the banking sector and macroeconomic volatility, but overall market sentiment supports a bullish continuation. EDUECO:Do not be emotional about any stock. Before Intercontinental bank, Diamond bank, Oceanic bank etc went down, they were considered some of the strongest in the industry. I remember when Sanusi was CBN governor, during his clean-up of the banking industry, Diamond bank was named amongst the first 4 strongest banks in the country. It only took a couple of years for the bank to be run down. That of First bank is well documented how Bisi Onasanya's administrator or CEO almost sent the bank to the great beyond. If Access bank does not take time, one of the big banks will acquire Access at very cheap price. |

EDUECO:I pray so. Because I have som units of Access bank. But I remain grateful to Sir Emma. It was after his disclosure of having sold off all his units of Access bank that I sold 50% of my holdings in the bank which I moved to Aradel, Transcorp and Presco. I know Transcorp will not pay good dividends, but their price is good and they have a culture of quarterly improvements in results. |
