EDUECO:
You moved from undervalued bank to overvalued Aradel,Transcorp and Presco!

With respect to PE ratio at H1 2025, ACCESSCORP is a better investment when compared to Aradel, Presco and Transcorp! cool
With ROE of 11%?

I pray so. Because I have som units of Access bank.
But I remain grateful to Sir Emma. It was after his disclosure of having sold off all his units of Access bank that I sold 50% of my holdings in the bank which I moved to Aradel, Transcorp and Presco.

I know Transcorp will not pay good dividends, but their price is good and they have a culture of quarterly improvements in results.
Pa Emma comment was a timely one.. I also disposed 80 percent of my holdings in Access and bought more Seplat. That access na stingy bank... Akagum 1 of the Banking Industry.

How do you mean "unfortunately"?
You are on your way to make huge money if you can be patient. Unless you are looking for quick profit money or to speculate

It appears you only use Price Earning ratio

Look at the Return on Equity.

Return on Invested Capital.

H1 PAT of N216: billion, shareholders fund of N3.8 Trillion.

Assuming full year PAT will be N430 billion, the will give a Return on Equity of 11.3%

HI,
I have an account with a traditional stock broker who only send me statement after each buy/sell. I have to communicate with my bank to get T-bills but I have never done anything on MMF or gloabal stocks. My long term investment goal is to explore MMF, Treasury bills, NIgerian stocks and GLobals stocks.

There is so much hype around the following apps:
#Bamboo app
#ARM One app
Mersitrade app
Which would you highly recommend?
Or you advise I stick to my traditional platform.

I know ₦550 billion PAT is attainable for 2025 financial year.

Even a ROE of 11% is awesome!

11% in banking sector? Anything less than 20% is not manageable

I think you cannot see the hidden value in ACCESSCORP. It is like the scenario where the glass is half full or half empty.

I hope the price can fall to ₦10 next week so that I can buy more units.

It is better to buy a good business at a fair price than buying a drowning or mismanaged business for cheap.

Not awesome in this economy.

You should target a minimum ROE of 20%, a company like Presco has ROE of about 80%, while Nahco has ROE of about 60%

Do you agree with Baba Kiyosaki, one line from his book Rich dad poor dad has been with me since I read that book over a decade ago. I quote

"Asset puts money in your pocket while liability takes money away from your pocket "

Baba gave me financial literacy

In my trading account;through portfolio rebalancing,I have made more than 50% just through my darling ACCESSCORP! You can deduce I have defeated inflation. grin

Folks here call it jijo, but I call it portfolio rebalancing!

I have mastered the price movement of ACCESSCORP.

While others see ACCESSCORP as dirt,I see it as gold. cool

You're wrong !

ACCESSCORP is a good company.

Last 10 years dividend history has been great.

ACCESSCORP has never declared a loss for full financial year in the last 10 years.

So if the company increase liability and push down the equity due to that. Then with the PAT, you can do the calculation and get a higher ROE.

Is a high ROE not the reason for the high book value?
Abeg make I learn something

When NB and MTN and Cadbury were in bad shape due to poor results. Smart guys bought into those companies and did over 200%.

Most people are waiting for Access to get to their entry level but the stocks market has a way of disappointing people.

Access intrinsic value is up to N45. Book value is above N70. Fair value around N50. Worst price it can get to should be N20 but smart enteries won't allow it get there.
