EDUECO:Stocks with Return on Equity of 50% would have made 500% return, beating inflation and currency devaluation |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 4:44pm On Oct 26, 2025 |
vacanci:Stocks with a high ROE are very efficient, profitable and also have a higher earning growth This will also lead to a high Price Book value ratio |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 4:47pm On Oct 26, 2025 |
vacanci:Book Value is useless if the stock is not generating earnings that supports the net asset per share. In Nigeria most stocks with a return on equity of less than 20% will sell below their book value |

vacanci:These are even company(NB,MTN and Cadbury) that declared loss for a full financial year. None of the above has paid dividends consistently in the last 10 years. Access Bank is an international financial behemoth. The intrinsic value of ACCESSCORP is above ₦50. |

emmanuelewumi:What if Access liability increases with a stagnant total asset. It will take down the total equity. So if we use the PAT unchanged to recalculate the ROE, and it reaches above 20%, is that ok? At least with this, ROE will be higher |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 5:04pm On Oct 26, 2025 |
vacanci:Liabilities can't increase without increasing the Total Asset Use ROE, then use ROCE or ROIC A good stock should grow equity, revenue and profit over the years |

Shared this Last month. This stock will quietly do N800. Heard Q3 result is good. May surpass my N60 FY EPS target NettyNelly: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chimex38: 5:31pm On Oct 26, 2025 |
vacanci:Rather than equity, total asset will increase, Equity remains constant. Net-Asset will drop. E.g assume constant PAT of 5bn, Total Asset= Liabilities + Equity. 70bn = 20bn + 50bn Net-Asset=(70bn-20bn=50bn) ROE=5bn/50bn=10% 80bn = 30bn + 50bn Net-Asset=(80bn-30bn=50bn) ROE=5bn/50bn=10%. ROE remains unchanged despite increase in liability from 20bn to 30bn. Total asset can't be stagnant when liabilities increases. |

emmanuelewumi:On the bolded. The recent CHI LTD sale to UACN by Coca-Cola proves a case in point. Coca-Cola sold CHI LTD at almost $400million loss to the book value. It's on Nairaland Front page.. https://www.nairaland.com/8547733/coca-cola-records-393-million-loss

Could this be why OTE$ cashed out 50%? Q4 go be less than 2months business cycle. More load shedding for Nigerians. https://leadership.ng/niger-delta-power-holding-begins-maintenance-on-430mw-geregu-plant/ |

How did I miss the right issue. Have they processed their allotment? Can you please provide more information on the right issue. Thanks |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 1:56am On Oct 27, 2025 |
bovali:You are on your own. There has been signs of red flags in Access bank for sometime now. 1. Delay of Q2 result which later came out poor. 2. Mismanagement of funds by the Directors of the Bank hiding under the umbrella of acquiring foreign banks which are not productive. Guy,banks don't work the way other companies do at NSE.There is 2 by 2 hard wood placed on any bank that eats shareholders dividend. Investors will collect their interim dividends by using 2 by 2 to flog Access bank on this disappointed Q2 result. I have sacked my lawyers(EDUECO) for self defence. Emmanuel Ewumi and Agba are my witnesses |

"Access Holdings Plc’s financial results for the half year ended June 30, 2025, reflect the resilience of our business model, the diversification of our revenue streams, and the steady progress to the execution of our five-year strategic plan. Gross earnings increased by 13.8% year-on-year to ₦2.5 trillion in H1 2025 from ₦2.2 trillion in H1 2024, driven by strong growth in interest income which increased by 38.9% year-on-year to ₦2.0 trillion from ₦1.5 billion in H1 2024. Net interest income also increased by 91.8% year-on-year to ₦984.6 billion in H1 2025 from ₦513.4 billion in H1 2024. Complementing this performance was a growth in net fees and commission income, which increased by 16.1% year-on-year to ₦237.7billion in H1 2025 from ₦204.7 billion in H1 2024. Profit before tax (PBT) and profit after tax (PAT) closed at ₦320.6 billion and ₦215.9 billion respectively underscoring the strength and resilience of our business model in the markets we operate in." Who else noticed a difference in language between the 5th Paragraph here, and the previous 4 Paragraphs? How flowery and trickish of Access Bank. Read it again closely... |

Outlook for the week: -> Market cap surpassing N100trn (25% of GDP) -> NGN breaking below 1400 -> Reserves moving towards $44bn -> October closing the gap on July to become a close runner up of best performing month for the market. (Folks who deal in penny stocks haven't felt the impact as much) Alhaji is currently bullish on naira, he's no longer seeing LSE listing as a priority. He'll take all the naira Nigerians can give him for up to 35% of the refinery. my new estimate for the listing is now $40bn (revised up from my previous $25 -$30bn) |

chimex38:What is the total outstanding shares of Geregu. How many units did he sell that amount to cashing out 50%. |

KarlTom:He still holds above 75% in GEREGU |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by unite4real: 7:31am On Oct 27, 2025 |
sky2891:Out of his over 1.9 billion units which is above 76% of total holding, he sold about 10.2 million which is around 0.5%. I am wondering why chimex38 is saying he cashed out 50%. |
