I have already started my skill assessment with vetasses. Civil Engineering degree is actually considered as one of the most relevant and closely related degree required for construction project management skill assessment with vetasses.

I think I have a better chance with construction project management and it also closely aligns with my experience. I was just worried if I could change skill assessment after lodging an expression of interest. Note: I didn’t assess my previous civil engineering experience, I only did skill assessment for degree with Engineers Australia
Good choice if you ask me! The competition in Civil Engineering is so fierce. I was shocked when I saw the numbers of applicants running into thousands of EOIs. My occupation is learning where civil Engineering is in terms of competition.

You will get invite at the speed of light with Construction Project manager if you can get a positive assessment. You won't stay long in the queue.

Of course you can change skill assessment after lodging EOI. Just make sure you withdraw the previous EOI once you get an invite for the construction project manager to give chance to other people when submitting your new one.

Hello experts in the house, I want to go study nursing, I already have a B.Eng in Nigeria. My dream is to go study nursing abroad and have a better life for my self and my family. I've plans of bringing my family (wife and kids) to join me maybe after one year.

I've thought about Canada and Australia as options. Reading through some pages of travel sections on Canada I'm kinda getting worried with the rate of rejections after money and time spent, so, this is where I need advice.

Considering the cost of Canada or Australia, which other country can come in that will serve the same dream and but cheaper and easy with 95% assurance of granting a visa on a single try.

Please if you have any country in mind kindly suggest or drop your opinion.

Please I need someone who can help with consultation. It will be paid. I just need someone who can put me through the Australia pathway, just explanation and what needs to be done, not helping with filling EOI but an explanation of the process and what to do. Consultation will be paid. Please reach out.

I have ND in metallurgical engineering ( I started working after this as a maintenance technician), I also have HND in mechanical engineering. I want to assess with TRA for Fitter general ( I have a trade test certificate). My concern is should I use only the ND or both the ND and HND. I can easily get the 5 years working experience with only the ND, the HND will only give me 2 years working experience since the work experience counts only after graduation.

Spot on!

Civil Engineer is probably not the best occupation at the moment! CPM or CED are better options now

You are better off assessing as a teacher if you can get the required English score.

[I just got admission, PGDE: Early childhood and primary education.
My main question is this, after the programme is this gonna be enough to pursue Australia PR or must i have to go ahead and do my Masters too?
Again there's every tendency that i could be upto 40years at the time I will be done with all these.

the PGDE will be enough as long as there is a teaching practice of up to 45 days and you are sure you can achieve a minimum of IELTS Academic L8 S8 W7 R7.

Please note that your age point drops to 15 on your 40th birthday. You may want to do a point calculation to know where you stand.

Studying in Australia is more expensive compared to Canada and there is a big age factor in getting admission. Once you are 35 you can’t get post study visa hence isn’t advisable for people in this age bracket to pursue Aussie admission except for PHD. I can help you with some hints… If your dream country is Australia you can go to the Uk to study Nursing for two years if you have a prior degree in any course then you can register with the nursing body in Australia and it is pretty easy for nurses to get work visa or PR in Oz.

Hello house.
Please do I need to write IELTS before applying for skilled assessment with VETASSESS?

I found out that it is not required. It is just for the visa processing.
Thanks.

Please I would need opinion from experts here, between Chemical Engineer and Plant Engineer, which stands a better chance of getting nomination for offshore 190 or 491,and what score could take one through?

No one knows.

If you want a trend , you can check for the history of past invites for both professions.

However, the higher your points , the better your chances.
So aim for above 100 points.

1. Chances of a Software engineer, not so good now, as this is over saturated.
2. Chances in the dental profession, good i reckon. So why not try to use a dental tech profile for your submission with your zero-work experience?
