@Aj8,

Please come give common sense analysis on Cadbury and MBENEFIT
Mutual Benefit revised Common Sense target down to 3.68 and Cadbury’s to 50.34 . They had earlier touched initial targets but may be time to retrace on weaker results. MM are likely to make final last minute push before the fall. Watch volumes.

Purely on the Common Sense Strategy.

I once said don't let q3 results meet u for chams, some people were carried away by sweet talks here.. grin grin grin

I still see bull in companies with outstanding results before January except if the price is no more the function of earnings of the companies.

We they here Incase you chose to be pessimistic with our cash stacked waiting to make a kill.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 9:40pm On Oct 29, 2025

Lol, they said our reserves are increasing, yet they’re still borrowing, they just approved a $2.5 billion loan. So, you move from $40 billion to $42 billion, and people like GeneralDea will clap, then you borrow $2.5 billion right after. I confirmed this administration’s cluelessness when they started dragging it out with NNPC over the Dangote Refinery earlier this year. In any sane country, a project like the Dangote Refinery would receive every possible form of support, given the immense value it brings to the nation. Instead, they supported sabotage. If Dangote were weak, the project would have folded. That’s when I realized they’re just here to loot and leave.

grin grin grin
Central bank’s reserves is not a fund the FG can spend or dip its hands in. That the reserves are building and the government is borrowing can co-exist.
The government runs on a budget, and the deficit component was known since last year. Government will borrow to fund the deficit even if reserves go to 100 billion.

They should sell shareholders compensation (redistributed shares) to which new investors again when there is already AGM approval to raise additional capital?
The AGM approved that the shares be redistributed to shareholders. If they want to sell to new investors, then there will be another AGM to authorize the sale and the price must be disclosed. And that will create more confusion.
Shareholders have invested and tied down their capital for long without dividends so they need something as compensation.
If new shares are issued to raise capital and reduce debt burden. The EPS will be lower than if the recovered shares tranches 3 to 6 were sold to a new investor. I will prefer higher EPS and higher share valuation than lower one. This arrangement can be brought to shareholders if new investors can be gotten at a good price like N100 to approve to dot the letters correctly.

I have this to say: Nigeria’s track record when it comes to the productive use of borrowed funds is… not great. Feel free to prove me wrong.

With 2027 around the corner and vote buying now in USD, a wise investor must have assets in USD and other currencies, its part of diversification.

You diversify across asset classes, sectors, currencies, even geographical locations for bigger boys.
