This is HORRIBLY wrong!

First of all, there is NO 10% CGT rate. Capital Gains will now be taxed using the Personal Income Tax rates for individuals and CIT rates for companies.

Secondly, the tax is applicable on ALL of chargeable gains.

If you sold for a Net Gain of #11M and withdraw it, the WHOLE #11M (not just the additional#1M) will be taxed at the PIT rates NOT 10%.

The exemption threshold in the NTA 2025 is NOT an allowance or a deduction.

It's just to answer ONE question:

Has this individual made enough transactions to TRIGGER a taxable event?

If the answer is YES, everything will be TAXED!

In fact, if you made a transaction that resulted in a Net Gain of #11M and you only withdraw about #2M to your bank account, the part you withdrew will be TAXED.

Oyedele and Tinubu are NOT playing.
How does the tax work with dividends received for the year? If your cumulative dividend which will normally be paid directly to your account is over 10m will you be taxed?

Let me make it shorter:

1. Where is the largest concentration of Christians in Nigeria?

2. Where do terrorists attack the most?

3.When all the deaths from terrorists attacks in Nigeria are tallied, what is the ratio of christian deaths to muslim deaths?

4. Why do you think someone who is violently ABDUCTING Christian Latinos and TRAFFICKING them to strange countries care about the ALLEGED plights of Black Christians in Nigeria?

5. Why do you excuse the deaths of Muslim-Nigerians but find that of Christian-Nigerians an objectionable act of genocide?

My point is simple:

Nigeria has a serious security problem.
ALL Nigerians are being killed regardless of ethnicity and religion.

ANYBODY who says there is a genocide of certain specific group of Nigerians is a LIAR with an ulterior, and likely sinister, motives.

Finally, it's a HUGE JOKE to think that the same America financing the GENOCIDE in Gaza somehow cares about an alleged genocide in Nigeria.

The American Politicians are using the claims of genocide as a PRETEXT for something else.
Are you seriously saying this? You should ask some people from plateau, Benue and Kaduna.

Lol, they said our reserves are increasing, yet they’re still borrowing, they just approved a $2.5 billion loan. So, you move from $40 billion to $42 billion, and people like GeneralDea will clap, then you borrow $2.5 billion right after. I confirmed this administration’s cluelessness when they started dragging it out with NNPC over the Dangote Refinery earlier this year. In any sane country, a project like the Dangote Refinery would receive every possible form of support, given the immense value it brings to the nation. Instead, they supported sabotage. If Dangote were weak, the project would have folded. That’s when I realized they’re just here to loot and leave.

grin grin grin
Abeg, which country is sane in this world? All of them are the same. The ones you perceive as sane have only mastered how to paint thier own evil and corrupt system white, while they blacklist ours. They call bribery lobbying in Murica, and only sacrifice their own when it's convenient and they cannot sweep it under the carpet due to the preponderances of evidence.

That being said, I don't support corruption; I believe every corrupt leader and follower should be kpai'd or castrate'd.

If Conoil does not renovate themselves by 2026, either Oando or Eterna Plc will overtake them. Which is it likely going to be?
I read that Conoil PAT declined by 85%. The share price will be badly affected going forward because of Dangite refinery. Adenuga may have to merge the upstream business with the listed downstream in order to sustain Conoil perfornance or delist the downstream business in the long run.

Your dividends are payable to your bank account net of withholding tax of 10%, the narrations/descriptions on the inflow to your account will reveal it as dividend income,so no tax again because tax has been deducted before payment to your account.

Mpeace you no go kee pesin.

So tarriff man Trump is planning a regime change attack because we did one little 15% tariff of our own. Would it not be better for them to just use the CIA to blow up Dangote Refinery if so, because that's the real threat to fuel importation.

If Dangote were not there and you hike import duty to even 50% it will only be getting more costly at the pump station. But importers would still be bringing it in, and passing on the cost burden to fuel buyers, thereby not hurting Trump and foreign refiners in any way.

Trump is triggered by the news of Christian Genocide as Obama was of the fake news that it was innocent muslims under persecution in NE Nigeria.
Obama's Kpakus government refused to give Jonathan weapons because the Obama side of the US ideological divide believed that it was Nigerian Christian farmers that were killing Muslims in the bush and stealing their cattles.

During Jonathans government, the Kpakus Obama administration was unrelenting in accusing Nigerian forces battling Gboko H of high handedness, human rights abuses, use of disproportionate force etc against "helpless" Gboko Haram.
Some day wht is happening to those minority Christians in the North will reach ur side.

BBC NEWS: TRUMP TELLS THE MILITARY TO PREPARE FOR ACTION AGAINST ISLAMIST MILITANTS IN NIGERIA.

Trump is not coming to attack the nation of Nigeria but quite the opposite, to assist Nigeria in the long drawn war with Gboko Haram.
From my knowledge of international politics. America wouldn't come to help you if there's nothing to benefit from it.

They will resolve their issues. The problem for America is not the genocide.
The problem is that 15% tax on imported fuel. It's going to totally eliminate importation if dirty fuel from Europe and America. Genocide didn't start today.

They will reach another deal that will calm trump. If not, trump will try to scatter things for our president in the next election, using genocide as an excuse.
So invariably, dangote's fight with the cabal is just starting since the US encourages our importation

Is not like I didn't sense personally that u are part of the scam alert

Then the idea of trying to visit the farm cam up and u never made it known u lived in benin fully or partly till u had attack on moniker and u said u stay in benin
You let claimed u will send the address of the farm privately to few instead to make it open for all interested to visit and make thr findings
You attacked all who made analysis or contrary opinion on kpakus. You didn't come with superior analysis or facts. You only attacked thr person and called them all kind of names. You toke it a different level by going tribal in the attack to gain support from ur recruited members who have bought kpakus
You attacked one individual post for posting genuine pictures of the company office and went ahead to attack his person
You claimed insider and talked about so many things on ground like seedlings, expansion, oil mill, plans to acquire property u know about. You attacked many person after the disgrace called egm.You denied the debt conversion to equity ratio. The lies u came up every time are too numerous.
ALL the target is to get kpakus above #15 which u have turned around to claim management is only interested in share price
Is this not the company u claim is ur next presco stating how people bought presco at early stage and are smart investors .I sensed when u sold or started selling before unaudited results came out.You went quite at that point .Now audited results has shown all people ever said are facts

I also want to believe the sanctions placed on US by china for rare earth minerals is making them look for other countries as options and probably there are minerals of interest to them here. If so, their most likely option is to keep crisis and insurgency high is these areas of interest in Nigeria
