Maybe you might be interested in this feed back:
Instead of saying market opens at 10 am next trading day

Why not make next_trading_day a variable and set a more intuitive value for it.

E.g

next_trading_day = Date.Today.Friday ? Date.Today + 3.days : Date.Today + 1.days

If Date.Today.Saturday
next_trading_day += 1.days

You can certainly adapt to your Language's syntax.
Done...thanks so much for the pointer...

Who the sovereignty help?

If all they're coming to do is take out the terrorists that the leaders have only been pleading with, then why not?

Cooperate and offer them weapons that they won't use or offer them money that they would loot when thousands are dying.
If the U.S do this alone, are you sure they would care to easily differentiate who the herder terrorists are from amongst the people in Benue and Plateau? Do they even know or care about the dynamics of the conflict in the middlebelt except for the simplistic “Muslims are killing Christians Slogan”? Do you think this would be easy and quick as Trump boasted and would he care if it spirals into something else?

Technically speaking, you are correct.

However, all investors really care about is the asset yield. Over the last three months, the mill has started depreciating in value...

U did it by coming up with all kind of lies. You didn't attack the people who saw it differently by calling them names. You didn't go far to making it tribal thing.
I never lied about anything, you can quote the supposed lie I told for everyone to see. I clearly made projections based on available data. Using the land size and the value of their palm fruits, I arrived at my projections, and it’s all documented here on this thread.

I used sound reasoning to argue with the opposition. Even when they made certain claims, I still proved the possibility of alternative outcomes. To me, lying means presenting speculations as facts, something I never did. From day one, I made it clear that my arguments were based on projections, and I even discussed risk mitigation.

All my posts are here; just search my moniker alongside EllahLakes and you’ll find them. Let me tell you, EllahLakes is going places, though it might take some time. But, at the current price, I need to see commensurate value.

Exactly what I have been thinking about. Trump has a limited view of what is actually going on. I am from Plateau State. The onslaught on Plateau Indigenes by extremists both have religious and ethnic undertones. These extremists are within the community and hard to fish out. Except the US can provide intelligence and go on a fact finding mission on the intricacies bedeviling these communities, screaming military action or invasion will do little to solve the problem. But I am grateful that the atrocities being committed by these extremists is gaining international traction. The killings has to STOP.

BTW if you follow Trump's playbook, he thrives on "divide and conquer". He is skillful on feeding into people's fears and prejudices and it has worked well for him.

You make it sound like the U. S military is a warfare amateur.

I believe they have ample intelligence to guide their operations, and where lacking they're equally capable of gathering more intelligence.

As far the swiftness and effectiveness of the operations, of course I do not expect it to be as Trump boasts. (The experience with the Houthis already raised a concern- where despite weeks-long campaign, the U.S Still didn't quite decimate them as one would hope)

But the complacency of the government is frustrating, so any help is welcome, as long as it's not worsening the situation.

This is also my concern.

The US needs to work together with intelligence.
Unless before this announcement, they have carried out an independent underground undercover investigation..
Otherwise by the time they are done, internal tension hightens we become worse off!

So all these your explanations make it alright?? Abi what exactly is the essence of this literature??

We're saying people are being killed, and some parties are offering to help you're giving useless explanations

God forbid, someone is caught at the police custody who has murdered someone dear to you, the police arrested him cause they felt he killed the person with a car, would you say they should release him because it wasn't a car he used, but a motorcycle??

What are you exactly saying?

I just don't understand how people in this country seem to take loss of lives with such levity. I can't imagine a greater loss.
Where did I say it was alright for anyone to be murdered? Do you have problems with comprehension?

I’ve been reading these comments and just laughing. Someone even said it’s because of the 15% tax on fuel importation, lol. People are coming up with all kinds of wild ideas. How much fuel does Nigeria even import from the U.S. to justify a war? Does that make any sense? When has the U.S. ever invaded a country over something that flimsy?

What I actually see coming are sanctions. The U.S. might start sanctioning Nigeria if the government doesn’t address the high level of killings. I don’t see how the U.S. would put boots on Nigerian soil without cooperation from Nigeria itself. They’ve worked with us before on the Boko Haram issue, but that ended in a mess, our military would often tip off the terrorists before major operations.

Until there is clarity about the benchmark SP the CGT will use for its calculations, the only way for the market between now and maybe middle of December is down.

When they eventually succeed in driving investors away from the market, we will see if Taiwo Oyedele and his cohort of sycophants who cannot muster enough courage to tell Tinubu that the CGT is retrogressive and anti-investment, would mobilize their own set of investors to come and trade in the market and pay govt. possibly 23.56% or 30% as CGT
