No... this is a very terrible stereotype on Nigerians. Because you are bereft of morals doesn't mean it's generalizable to the entire population.

It's in fact rather silly to think there's anything like an "average Nigerian", and saying so just shows a failure in maths.

I wonder what would happen to your self esteem if you lived abroad as a Nigerian.

But thankfully, most other countries don't see us Nigerians as the criminals you see us and yourself as, or they wouldn't bother hiring us to responsible posts.

So how does this line of thinking address the issue?

Or are you saying you can just throw out an assumption without evidence or solutions simply because you're an "average Nigerian"?

Where's the backing for this claim of yours?

Or perhaps you think you can just jump online and tarnish the reputation of 200 million people, plus mess with their visa approval chances, just because you're an "average Nigerian" 🤔

It's not a stereotype. What he's saying is the raw truth.

If you can get funding to run an experiment...I'll tell you to send 5k to 100 random people and call them to send you back the money that it's a mistake.

I doubt if 10 out of the 100 would return back your money.

We're extremely dishonest in this country.

exactly. we are also very untrue to ourselves as you can see in the comments. we hate the truth. tell an average nigerian the raw truth and you become his worst enemy.
you will see a businessman who buys a product for 100k, selling it for 500k, and he will tell you its business.

That is why our political leaders and the clergy are looting in the name Jesu Krista. And no one question them because they call the name of God

I agree with you.

I would agree with the op if they narrowed it down to Nigerian Pastors. Now that is not just an average, that is the totality of them. Either benefitting from a scam they have or are running or plotting new ones.

To an extent, yes. Yet, there are exceptions.
