If I was to file tax returns for my activities on the NGX for 2025, iTrade and CitiTrader make it easy.

So far this year, on one of my accounts,

Total share sales is N425m
Reinvested amount is N409m

Trading fees is 9m

Net unreinvested amount is N7m.

Now I have two options:
1. convert N7m cash to shares by December 31 and I'll be completely exempt.

Then by January 2nd I sell and cash out.

2. prove that the cost of the N7m sales is N6m and that pay tax on just N1m.

I appreciate those guys for having such a great platform for traders.

I once tried one platform where I was told that yo even get continuous live feeds of market trades, I have to keep refreshing.

You place orders, it takes forever to reach market etc.

These guys did alright, let them just now incorporate virtual accounts to automate deposits and withdrawals.
