Really? You think the market is not bearish yet?

What we are having now is a pullback.
If we loose about 20% from the top, then we can begin to talk about bearish sessions
Will it turn to a bear market? I definitely don't know

Those type are from 30 million up.How many do u see on the road if not government bought
You want very big car for free lol.
Even the Chinese making the cars are not driving big ones anyhow. You’ll need more than that for bigger EV’s. But they’ll still be like about 50% cheaper than comparable brand new petrol ones.

The point is, what is the real worth of the N200m?
Things are bad now such that a single economy policy by a govt can make that money lose value overnight.
A country where prices of goods and services can just double or triple overnight just like that.
A bottle of water was N30 just a few years ago. Today, it is selling for N200-N300.
It is the trend and fear of inflation.
It is 140 times of our GDP per capita

like seriously. Is possible because many of my friends believe in houses and land over many things as asset When I talk about liquid assets they are never interested. Thr reasons is lost of trust in government and institutions that anything could happen to such assets and u are finished
Meaning out of every 200 Nigerian na just 1 of them go get N200 million in liquid assets

Yes, If we can to that level of output we wont even be afraid of rice importation as we can compete with farmers from other countries, but now we cannot
Isn't the importation meant to be for just 6 months sef?

It's looks like it's been running for over a year now.

CBN taking charge of Fixed income trading from FMDQ.
now both regulator and operator.
Banks major cash cow is under more scrutiny.

Power tussle on who is actually in overall charge. SEC or CBN?

Could this be the cause of the bear?

What's the total money supply?
How much of that belongs to govt and corporates?

Divide the rest by 1 million to get the average amount of cash held by the top 0.5%

I bet it's probably less than N40m.

Stocks, pension funds, debts etc are all subsets of the overall money supply cos na from the available money supply, stocks dey turn cash, otherwise na just paper value.

Anyways, being in this percentile isn't really worth anything imo.

For context, ask me to choose between being a regular guy with N2bn and being someone with spiritual powers and just N10m, I'd choose the latter.

Cos your N2bn can't save you from sudden death or incurable illnesses whereas your spiritual power would if it's the authentic type.

Money is just really over hyped. Like, it's not even useful on Mars for instance, abi if these AI enthusiasts had their way, it wouldn't even be relevant any more on earth.

Like robots do all the farming, make all the food, build all the cars etc and humans just enjoy, money isn't needed.

Other than making us feel good about ourselves, I don't see much relevance to these statistics.

But we should rather be grateful for the privilege and remember that we're not better than anyone else.

I always think to myself, what if I was born with some mental deficiency or something, whom would I have sued?

“If somebody is roasting corn by the roadside, if somebody is a vulcaniser, if somebody is a carpenter — those guys are poor. It doesn’t matter how many customers they have in a day; you shouldn’t leave it to the government or the tax officer to decide whether they need to bring in tax or not.

“So, those guys — we’re planning to give them exemption stickers so they just live their life. That is how direct and practical it is,” he said.

Best solution is to completely divide Nigeria along Religious lines. One side should be named Islamic Republic of Nigeria, and the other side should be named Biafra (Christian).

Every Nigerian is free to choose which side to belong to with new Passports and Identities issued. No human should have to share same nationality with animals.
