After living in the Gambia for three years , I am getting Married to my best friend from bissau, she lives and work in the Gambia .. my introduction was last week , and I was given a list of things to buy for the traditional wedding ..

the only expensive thing on the list is a PIG
Everything in total no reach 350k in naira .
Sometimes you can’t help but wonder why everything in Nigeria is done extra extra .

Nice country , tiny population, stable electricity.
Hot climate , good environment for entrepreneurship.
Less materialistic women and men all in general . So for a Nigerian you may tag them as lazy , but in reality they don’t see money the way we Nigerians do .. they strongly believe you should enjoy today for tomorrow will take care of itself.

Their food is mostly rice , they have more than 20 different sauces but they are all eaten with rice .. there is a Nigerian international market here for convenience. Everything about Nigerian soup ingredients , you won’t miss home much .

I feel I'll thrive there, as rice is my thing.

Me and most Nigerian foods [soups especially] don't align.

Do you know that The Gambia are the original owner of jollof rice?
They call it benachin.
Then there's their yassa poulet, an onion based sauce, usually served with rice also.

Also, when it comes to cooking, they take their time to lay the foundations of flavour.
They don't rush.

So people actually migrate to Gambia? Is there a country you Nigerians don't migrate to?

stop lying. The Gambia is not even up to a local government in Lagos state and there is no stable electricity.

Young men in Nigeria are really endangered in the hands of these wicked Nigerian girls.
