nosa2:I expect pull back next week that is why I said expect side ways trading. U see tomorrow and next na confirmed green. The government made sure the news went viral.Thr is political target for ASI to stay at 150k or above..So expect more incentives from government to achieve that purpose. This government is predictable because of obsessive political ambition. |

Streetinvestor2:I don't buy the CGT reason. Markets go up and down. People find reasons to explain it but rarely are those reasons right. P.S why don't people post on ngxforum? I created the place to make it easier to research past discussions |

Valthegreat:Like seriously. U are asking this kind question about kpakus concerning oga Emma. Are u a learner in this market. He does not touch such stocks with even long pole |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Valthegreat(m): 12:03pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
emmanuelewumi:Never say never ![]() But do you agree with me that if they succeed that may mark a turn around for the business ceteris peri bus? So 'kpakus' days will become over with the acquisition. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 12:05pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
Valthegreat:I was expecting a forecast from at least 2026 to 2028 in the offer prospects, but it was not included in the prospectus |

emmanuelewumi:Impossibility is not in the dictionary of this market sir. 😊 The confidence with which ELLAH is going about this, and the fact that SEC approved the fund raising exercise shows there must have been some DD carried out that the company can achieve it, even if not all, at least, a larger part. Some rumours have it that there are strategic investors on ground to pick up the offers...and that ARPN has strong footing......na hearsay oo. We see how it goes anyway ..... Wishing ELLAH success in the fund raising program and growth expectations. |

emmanuelewumi:So you were expecting Chuka to give you another lie when you are already holding him on his blockos for his former lies? ![]() However, I believe ELLAHLAKES turn around is getting closer than ever. |

yMcy56:Deep down, he probably fears that Ellah Lakes’ rights issue might affect Presco’s own, but please reassure him that multiple rights issues can coexist and still be fully subscribed. ![]() |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 12:16pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
Valthegreat:I sometimes wonder, you’ve made it clear that Ellah Lakes is a bad investment, yet you keep commenting on it. Just bless the so-called “unintelligent” people still holding it and focus on your own picks, lol. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 12:18pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
yMcy56:The so called strategic investors would have been included in the prospectus. We are in the market to raise N250 billion out of this N100 billion worth of the offer is reserved for our strategic investors. |

yMcy56:Have u ever seen a listed company approach regulator that they want to raise fund and it was denied. Are u buying the PO so that we know u have solidarity for the company. I want to know whose money good to enter bush...lol Strategic investmentor will not come through PO.It will be PP now...haba |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nosa2(m): 12:23pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
emmanuelewumi:You don't need to be a genius to know that the strategic investor is the company they are acquiring. This has been obvious to me for a long time I would have really loved to buy the stock back but I need numbers. All this blind market waka is not for me |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 12:24pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
Zac Itzlinda:Many reasons First, I don't trust the government, they will do what they want to do ie collect huge Capital gains tax. Secondly I want to concentrate my portfolio in the Oil sector. Particularly Aradel. Thirdly there is this juicy property that came up in my neighborhood. I need it |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 12:25pm On Nov 12, 2025*. Modified: 12:59pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
emmanuelewumi:With this clause in the offer document, if the offer was oversubscribed and a retail investor who wanted to invest N20 billion was not alloted all his shares and excess fund. The strategic investors who are included in the offer documents will get all the shares they applied for. That was what happened during First Bank offer, I could only less than 300k worth of shares out of the roughly N3 million I applied for. But some strategic investors got shares worth billions alloted to them Essence of this was to maintain control. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 12:30pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
nosa2:Why would the strategic investor want to go via PO instead of private placement if he sure of the fund.He would have first announced thr own to boost confidence of investing community |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 12:33pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
ositadima1:It is complete two different things One is RI snd the other is PO.If kpakus was sure that it's existing shareholders including chuka holding larger numbers would participate. They would have included RI.That tells u chuka no ready to even buy too because he has used back door to corner enough via fake debt to equity conversion The RI can easily scale through if not because of what the yeye government policy brought to the market |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 12:39pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
nosa2:Well said sir. Me, I no get energy for arguments Na wetin I hear, na im I talk.. I don talk say na hearsay, I'm not a management member to say whether it's true or not. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Valthegreat(m): 12:43pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
ositadima1:I never concluded that ELLAHLAKES is a bad investment, I only read that from you. But it is clear to investors already that the management are gamers of which I see their games as a way to achieve their growth goals not necessarily for fraud. Chuka want investors to keep being upbeat about ELLAHLAKES before the company arrives at his projected destination. It is obvious he is taking steps to get there amidst his theatrics and I don't see anything stopping him. There are so many ways to the top and he is following one of them |
