Please I do have an important question. I recently got to understand that Ukvi now Conduct interviews for potential students. Just to be sure if this interview is mandatory for everyone at the moment or they randomly select who would be interviewed. |

Hello everyone, please I need your advice. I recently received a conditional offer from Anglia Ruskin University for the next intake, I actually applied for a UK student visa for the September intake earlier this year, but I was denied after the UKVI interview. The refusal wasn’t due to any fraudulent documents — it was mainly because I couldn’t clearly convince the consular officer of my study intentions. The decision letter only came through recently, about a week ago, so when I was applying to Anglia Ruskin University, I didn’t declare that I had been denied before, since at that time the refusal decision hadn’t officially been issued. My question now is: 👉 Should I inform Anglia Ruskin University that I’ve had a previous visa refusal (and explain the situation), or 👉 Since I already have a conditional offer and I’m about to proceed with payment and CAS process, is there no need to mention it since this new application is with a different school and I’ve learned from my previous experience? Please I need your advice guys Thank you! |

Showkey1313:You would need to mention in your new student visa application However I doubt your university admission process asked you to let know of any visa denials |

Some new immigration changes have taken effect from 11 November 2025. The list of changes is extensive, but here I will focus only on the Student visa maintenance requirements. The maintenance (living cost) amounts have increased, and applicants must now ensure they meet the new financial thresholds before applying. For your POF, please look at the new amount on UK gov.

Hench Education is a useless and unprofessional agent. They have been hijacking my younger brother's CAS for a month. They insist they will apply on his behalf. I am confused. How is that normal? |

lexybaba1234:Pls I need clarification with my POF,, I'm doing a 2 year program,, My sch fees is 18k pounds and I've paid the deposit of 6k pounds meaning I have 12k pounds remaining to pay,,but I applied for scholarship and was given 2k pounds which is yet to be effected in my record,,,so tentatively I will be paying 10k instead of 12k pounds... So in my POF account I added 10539+10000 making 20,539 which when converted to naira gives 41,078,000... But my POF is up to 44mil.. So pls will that amount be enough for the visa processing or do I need to add more to d 44mil? |
| Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by Nobody: 10:03am On Nov 15, 2025 |
Altern8tor:If your course is 2yrs program. You only need to show POF of £9k for school fees of 1yr + Living expenses which both should be less than £25k. As you already paid £6k as deposit, you only need less than £17k which should be less than #36m. |
