I am having an issue with UCAP stockbroker. I sold some of my cabury and Total shares on the 5th and 10th of this month up until now they haven't credited my bank account as a Direct Cash Settlement customer. I have sent emails to them, but there is no positive result.
I have complained to CSCS, and I was told to lay the complaint through the broker, which I did, but no response yet.
What should I do next?

if you are a direct cash settlement customer, CSCS should credit your account on settlement day. If not, the money should be in your trading cash account with UCAP.

The broker has nothing to do with DCS. So they have done u nothing. They have no control over the cash

1) unless you received contract statement of your sell orders alongside the SMS alert from CSCS, probably not all sales were executed that day. Maybe it took extra 2-3days to sell your shares.
2)Try check your portfolio directly from CSCS(NOT your broker platform) and see the status of the trades. if you didn't register, you can ask for your direct statement from CSCS or via your broker(it will come with CSCS identifiable features)
Probably they may be on pending transaction on the statement(ongoing process)

3) contact CSCS directly again, copy your stockbroker or Contact your broker and copy CSCS.

4) Escalate to SEC.

Stop writing emails and storm those offices shaking with anger. cool

If you had been an old and seamless DCS user then this new hitch is with CSCS.
But if this is your first switch to DCS mode then it's likely your broking house did not process your account to CSCS properly.

Be visibly angry with them.

Kpakus attempt to impede your escape from CGT dragnet.

I received sales contract notes from my broker, but no sms from cscs

I have checked my porfolio with cscs and the shares are no longer there

I have done both since last week

you mean, you didn't receive any X-alerts as SMS?
I would advise you screenshot your CSCS portfolio statement as well as send the contract note from your broker to CSCS as evidence.
Also make complain of not receiving X-alerts.

you can copy SEC along if possible.
Maybe @Emmasoft can help you further.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 10:14am On Nov 17, 2025
Write an email to CSCS, copy yoour broker and SEC. Copying SEC is very important at this point. You will get a resolution. Attach the sale contract note and make sure you complain bitterly (put some element of rudeness, na Naija we dey) about the lack of actions from the cscs and your brokers since you brought the issue to their notice.

Try and define your short term....

For me o, I can't buy ARADEL at current market price.....

We have the ARADEL gurus here, maybe they'll have better advice for you if you define your short term projection.
Oga Emma is your best bet here. 😊

True. It happens. At times the sms is also delayed. I understand your point.

The persons case looks like an all-in-one-case from every angle.
so I think it best not to rule out any isolated Issue.

ARADEL no doubt is a great stock from the analysis done and in the positive developments in the company so far....
The short term is the issue, looking at how this market behaves sometimes .
If it's six months, I think maybe you still keep eye on the price movement to get it at much cheaper bargain than present price....... should the opportunity present itself.

Agba will be like 100-150 junction 😁

The issue with the stock is profit takers.....
Maybe the FYE report will propel it forward the more......if the result is fantastic again.
