Hello, thanks for your explanation. Abeg i get question.

Does this mean I won;t see my TIP shares in my Cardinal Stone? I have to open a CSCS account or what to access them? I have a CSCS number, but not the account.

emmasoft:
@OoDeeA, To know if the shares have been allotted to you, request your CSCS statement from the stockbroker or check online if you subscribed to online access; your allotted units will reflect there.
When shares are allotted, they do not go directly to your trading account but to your CSCS account. Whatever appears in your CSCS account is tradable on the floor of the NGX, even if it’s not on your trading account.
Note that even when registrars announce an allotment, it does not automatically mean every shareholder received their shares. There may be one irregularity or another affecting your allocation.

In such cases, the appropriate party to contact is the Registrars (GTL), not the stockbroker.
Stockbrokers do not allot shares, so reporting the stockbroker will not resolve the issue because that will be the wrong target.

The registrar will sort out any pending allotment, not the stockbroker.

stokfrick:
It is this corruption of those in authority that has reduced this country down to the level of embarrassment and shame.
Its the same corruption can spell doom for a country at this level.
You can see the way our leaders are handling terrorism, using it to play politics for selfish reasons. They're not even touched by what is going on, it doesn't concern them cos they have multiple citizenship incase the country finally implodes today.
Hatred for a particular ethnic group in the country has blinded other ethnic groups that they don't even see that northern level of banditry/terrorism has gradually crept into the West .
This week it was kwara state, who knows where next it will be.
And as usual we look the other way until it consumes everyone.
Make Una continue.
The consumption is spreading.
We can see it in how the bandits are becoming daring.
-Taking pics and videos without trace.

-Low livid petty thiefs around are now emboldened to graduate to the next level.
-Today it's Bwari or so in FCT
About 30 armed kidnappers inside someone's residence.
Thank God for swift police response, it would have been the latest headline.

The consumption effect is
going to be a reality if nothing is done. Not the mantra of "its not my portion tales".

Like I said, it is a very strange concept to common sense and perception of justice to talk of 'repentant terrorist'. However, the insinuation that they are being recruited into the military has been refuted by the authorities.
Like the authorities are known for their integrity. They same ones that denied the abduction of the general.

For the fact that you have a stockbroking account with Cardinal Stone that means you have cscs account the same thing you call cscs number.

If you provided the cscs number and CHN in the space provided on the TIP application form, the unit applied for will be credited to your cscs account during allotment.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 8:27pm On Nov 20, 2025

I have a similar situation since August. I have sent them a mail and also reached out to them on twitter. There has been no positive response or resolution till today.

If you know the exact number of units and they are slowing you down. Just place the same number on sell order with on your broker platform. The sales will be filled. Use the money to repurchase same company and the number of units will now appear on your brokerage account. Your cost for this short cut is the brokerage fee for the round trip.

But they have been right at times in some daring investigation news.

One was court Martial at one time because of this incident. He missed a yr promotion as punishment with his mates. That would have caused his life and his men.

No lie here. The problem with bitcoin is that it’s original intended use is to be a medium of exchange, but people started hoarding it, forcing it to be an asset class. This conflict is the source of its volatility.

For something that has no intrinsic value i predicted that oneday it would just disappear, value falls to zero. Now in the present, this is a potentially big problem, because too much real value has gone into purchasing it. If it falls to zero, it would cause significant financial stress in the world, hence the battle to save it. I guess.

After all is said and done. No human can predict its future with their full chest. Only God knows this.

Market still in a shock, even though most assets are in oversold conditions, significant economic and political uncertainty persists... ASI potentially trending lower, current momentum suggests a move towards 127 k which is 23.6% fib level of wave 3... affected assets unknow but thinking high ticket items mainly... A highly probable bullish stance will be test of 141k low (not lower than 138k) and next stop 190K - 200K...personally, i favor the bullish stance but trump 9ja saga, FX stability, policy shifts, and potential earnings surprises will ultimately play a crucial role in shaping market sentiment and direction.

Why did you say most stocks are over-sold?
Because according to this Meristem research, the current ASI P/E is below average 5-years SD/-1
Which means fundamentally, the average stock needs to be priced up.

1)Some have intrinsic value as blockchain related products(Etherum and co).

2)Stablecoins(Tether) have also given the major ones some intrinsic valuations as users transfer to tether to hedge against real dollars stored in some treasury; legitimizing it also as means of exchange in the process with banked up storage.

Though, i get you guyz point. Without established products and services, $0 might come knocking for most assets in a panic or bubble burst.

But i think zero is highly unlikely especially for Bitcoin and Etherum at least with use cases.

SEC just recently launched a Blockchain academy program with Cambridge university in Nigeria.

I think there may be a problem with this. Since they mentioned the ASI, it likely means the individual stock P/Es are first collapsed into one number by weighting them by market capitalization and then applying the 5-year moving average.

This means a few giant companies, often called SWOOTs (Stocks Worth Over One Trillion), end up controlling the vast majority of the index’s movement. The chart is useful for a macro view of the economy’s largest players, but it’s a poor tool for picking individual stocks.

A 1% move in Dangote Cement matters more than a 20% move in a smaller company.

as naira is strengthening we are experiencing deflation, so companies cannot easily grow sales, competitive products can start gaining share back if they have cost advantages. All this wars, loans, and excessive corruption is not going to favour investing. We are really not in a good place economically, investors are not blind. Let be honest the market have it own mind, it prices sometimes correctly the risk existing.

Seems an account has been created using the CHN number
Call or email the customer service of CSCS; they would ask a few questions to verify ownership, and then they will give you the user name and password

Yes, but this one looks lower league, and financially motivated, unlike the religiously motivated daredevil jihadists of the far north that captured and killed a brigade commander for God's sake.

Sure they raided a Church, perhaps because churches and schools are quick sources of non Muslim victims.

True..
That's why I also said these days.

Some rumors may not have proven true but hasn't entirely been disproved either convincingly.

Whatever disease one thinks is unfathomable for one to suffer from should'nt cloud one's judgement when one sees symptoms.
It could be true, it could be false, its unwise to dismiss outrightly, less it eats one up gradually.
Diagnosis is recommended.
