toyeoye: olig:Maybe you can add alert functionality, it could be an automatic email or a notification if you have a mobile app. Someone should be able to set a target price, volume, or any other market condition and have the alert trigger when it’s reached. |

nosa2:let look at your position based on my street analysis. You don't believe what is happening recent times has to do with CGT and blood Bath. You believe it is market cycle which means after bull season is correction cycle or bear cycle. My street sense tells me we never really had bull season since this government happened as we had bear season during Buhari. What I believe happened in the last 3 yrs was repricing of ngx assets due to devaluation and inflation on the street. So when did the bull cycle really happen that we have moved to opposite or different cycle. |

Streetinvestor2:You are spot on. If you have been in this market since 2015 you have probably lost money in dollar terms even though your Naira numbers will make you think you made a lot. I totally abandoned Naira assets in 2014/2015 and I only returned this year. With regards to the Nigerian Bull market, we are still in the long term bull market. The index needs to touch 280k-300k for us to get back to 2015 levels. I strongly believe we will get there and surpass it but it will take a couple of years. This is why to me all these dips are irrelevant, because when you look at the macro economic situation you will see mostly upside. I am investing in Nigeria because I truly believe that for the next couple of decades this is market will strongly outperform most stock markets |

Streetinvestor2:Most people don’t get it. We said as far back as 2023 that the market was undergoing a repricing. I used to buy Hero for ₦250, but it repriced multiple times , to ₦300, then ₦500 (₦400 in some places), then ₦800 (₦700 in some places), and finally to the current ₦1000. It’s not just beer. Almost everything in the market has repriced. The same LG washing machine I bought for ₦40,000 is now ₦150,000. How do you expect the stocks of companies whose plants and physical assets have also repriced upwards to remain the same? Like you said, much of the appreciation we saw may simply be repricing, not “growth” in the real sense. I don’t have the strength right now, but one way to look at it is to compare the price of these stocks from 2023 in dollar terms versus their current dollar value, assuming the dollar maintained constant value. (Yes, even the dollar has lost some value, but it’s still the best benchmark we have.) |

During Bear Market, most Analysts become onlookers. During Bull Market, most onlookers become overnight Analysts. |

Despite that some of these stocks are shedding, the kind of money trooping in, and the type of bids surfacing and resurfacing....did not point to a bear market... More billions picking stocks..... Huge bids in some of these stocks......UACN, FBNH, ACCESS, GT, ZEE, etc.. * UACN: 26M bids against a paltry N1.2m offers * FBNH: 24M bids Vs. Around 3M offers... * ACCESS: Lots of picks @20.50 despite the dumping by whosoever it is.. ** A lot of intra price defence in some.....even in OANDO @40.. Wetin dey happen? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 2:34pm On Nov 21, 2025 |
ACCESS really collect today....... Lots of dumping and picking @20.50.. It is well. Make we go rest for the weekend.... Same. I switched completely from naija mutual funds to Eurobonds/REITS ($)/NYSE since 2018 or so. I've had an average of 12% pa in dollar terms (I would have been at a great loss in naira terms if I'd stayed). Finally entered the NGX becaue I see great things happening in Naija Palm Oil (Presco) and Gas (Aradel), and the stable dollar may finally make the whole stress be worth it. If the rate starts that silly volatility, I'll just cut my losses and move on from the NGX finaly . I also agree that everything is being repriced due to inflation. nosa2: |
