nosa2:He is right though. For example you can’t compare 9% of 100 billion to 7% of 100 million, they are worlds apart. Even the number you quoted i won’t call it progress. Why? Imagine in 2015 you owned a shop with goods worth 100k, 2016 you are now worth 107k, 2017 - 115k, 2018 - 122k. Would you think you are making progress? You say “ Anyway Nation building takes decades and centuries so there is no rush”. Omo this is not the case for Nigeria. My great grand ma told my grand ma, that she doesn’t think Nigeria would get better that she (grand ma) should leave for UK. Then she was working in civil service, had a house, a car that was madt for that era. Now she says she is glad she listened. How many youths with jobs that can get them a proper monthly saving talk less of a house or a car? Even my elders tell me, “I feel for your generation”. You people don’t have the opportunities we had. One of my elderly landlord bought the land for massive house with grant money he received from his employer almost immediately after graduation. Nigeria need next 5 years no nonsense urgent plan type thing. Nigeria is like a 25 old man still in primary 4 and we are saying well at least he still in school. |

Harddiskng:Once again I don't know how to respond to this. Having a conversation with someone who due to a lack of understanding of the basics creates a straw-man argument is a recipe for pointlessness. Look at the time line I stated and look at the times you referenced. Do you see any difference? With regards to the rest of the 100b to 100m discussion.... I will kindly ask that you watch a YouTube video as to what China has been through in the last 100 years With regards to your 5 year plan; how do you get good leadership if your political process does not reward good governance? My initial statement was pregnant; try and ask questions for clarity rather than dismiss |

nosa2:You are the one being dismissive. We both saw your timeline before commenting and it even contradicts your opinion that Nigeria is making any progress. My own timeline was just for an example for you to understand his point. You can go through something for 200 years and change won’t occur because of what you have been through. Change occurs when there is strong intent that is action backed. Let me even burst your bubble, If you like get the best leader in world to be President of Nigeria. It won’t change for the better! Why? The main problem of Nigeria is now Nigerians; If i start explaining why to you, it would take all day. Anywhere let’s not derail the trend here. |

Harddiskng:You’ve said it all. The ruling class created an impoverished and ignorant citizenry, thereby creating a vicious cycle as those that will replace the leaders will emerge from the same batch of ‘virtuous’ Nigerians. |

Market to welcome T+2 as Nov 28 approaches. ASI likely to gain +5% to +12% between late Nov and December. T+2 will 1. Improve liquidity more than expected 2. Foreign portfolio investors will return because settlement now aligns with global standards 3. Brokers will increase trading volumes 4. Year-end optimism (“Santa rally”) kicks in 5. No major negative policy or FX shock as the year ends. What you will see: Banking stocks jump first (Zenith, GTCO, UBA, Access) Insurance stocks pick up volume Big-cap industrials (BUA, Dangote, MTN) benefit from foreign inflow Penny stocks will become liquid and rally due to sentiments 👉 Finally Japaulgold and Royalex will bounce back. Happy weekend to you all. We will be back in the market from next week for our Xmas Ram. |

ositadima1:You have a point and I don't think you are derailing. It's still NGX discuss. One of the metrics in the fragility index even captured concentration flaws that can be skewed by just a few high cap stocks. So it can be useful and adjusted based on one's portfolio holdings. Good piece. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 10:18am On Nov 24, 2025 |
It is a time for Xmas bull. Don't miss out. Beware of Maradonna's of Nsempa. |

Insurance and Banking stocks to lead the market. T+2 in sight this week |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chimex38: 10:22am On Nov 24, 2025 |
HesInMe:He's more about how it tilts towards highcap stocks. Which o agree with. It's singular usage as an ASI-crash-metric may not go well with Nigerians NGX. unless ones portfolio is largely made up of those high cap scores over 70-80%. Then I think it can be useful for such persons. |

A failed government has produced a disgraced nation. A disgraced nation can not produce a prosperous stock market. I don't need economic Prof to teach me nonsense A none prosperous market can only vanish. My street analysis for ngx based on recent developments |

Streetinvestor2:Totally bungled case. How do you sack all your lawyers, then say you want to call witnesses then decide you are no longer calling witnesses? The judge even advised him to reconsider his decisions. Barrister Darlington a well known Kanu supporter and public affairs analyst also said that the case was bungled, just like kanu's former lawyer said. |

Royalex strong support at 1.80. Next support at 2.25 To experience a powerful breakout. What a nice insurance bull at Xmas period |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 11:57am On Nov 24, 2025 |
SonofElElyonRet:My brother, let's focus more on substantive justice and let's not dwell too much on legal gymnastics and technicalities. Who is more of a terrorist between Kanu and the various Boko Haram, ISWP, Lakurawa people killing and kidnapping people all over the country? When they are arrested, some are even described as ''repentant'' and re-integrated back into the society and they end up being spies for these terrorists. Yet, they sentenced Kanu to life imprisonment but allow the real terrorists to go scot-free. I don't support Kanu himself because some of the strategy of IPOB actually harmed the people of South East e.g. sit at home, and there have been unnecessary bloodshed and killings in the region which is affecting their economy and development. All the insecurity in the country is now affecting the NGX as well right now. |
