chimex38:How much is the so called zenith today. How much was it before this failed government started Then do the devaluation/inflation maths on the street. U will see reality A disgraced ngx has nothing to offer till 2027 when this failed government is kicked out |

chimex38:I think we are close to or at the bottom for some stocks, obviously Zenith Bank is one of them. It could trade sideways here but I don't see it going below N54. In fact crypto has started bouncing back so tomorrow would most likely be positive |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chimex38: 12:53am On Nov 25, 2025 |
nosa2:I don't think it will get their on its own or any related news. Based on current happenings, I believe external news can trigger further decline. Which is why market is cautious. Like if a delay in rescue of kidnap victims within the next 1-2 weeks isn't effected. Or any new major abductions that triggers international reach, etc. If they are able to do all that within the next 1month. It's going green |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chimex38: 1:07am On Nov 25, 2025 |
Streetinvestor2:Sometimes if one can't beat inflation/devaluation effect of double digit growth say 30% but can reduce it's effect on one's purchasing power over time to single digit of 9-10% thereabout. It's also a win. We hope they rescue the hostages and get the abductors within the next few days to weeks. The hostage number is embarrassing. I want to believe if they do, It will have a positive effect on Ngx as well. |

When the bears take over market, the topic of discussion changes. NSEMPA is a place to feel the pulse of the nation while relaxing and waiting for when market will pick up. I am still waiting for when Santa rally will happen so that i can offload some meaningless stocks in my portfolio. Or is there no such rally as we are approaching December ? Today is a new dawn, we watch the way of the market today. |

Streetinvestor2:But Nnamdi Kanu refused to defend himself, insisting that there was no case against him. He never challenged the evidence presented, maintaining that position until the end, almost as if he believed he was above the law. After his arrest in 2021 (in a manner many describe as questionable), IPOB initiated the sit-at-home orders, which later turned violent. Yes, his arrest may be debatable, but he was already on bail, which he jumped to travel to the UK before the incident. He is the acknowledged leader of IPOB, and during those sit-at-home periods, many people were killed. You can argue that it wasn’t IPOB directly, that the movement was hijacked, but IPOB still enforced sit-at-home despite the harm it caused. So saying he ‘did nothing to nobody’ is simply not correct. His words incited violence, and people lost their lives. I can cite many cases, not even involving the military or police, but ordinary civilians. He will probably be released eventually. He will appeal, and if he continues with this ‘no-case’ and postponement strategy, the process could drag on for another four to five years. If the government in power at that time is not friendly to the South, he may end up back in jail, after which he will likely appeal to the ECOWAS Court and possibly get a favourable ruling. All of this, for what? We’ve seen IPOB operate through intimidation and violence. I would rather remain with Nigeria, as bad as it is, than align with what I’ve seen IPOB do. Anyway, this isn’t the place to go into all that. ![]() |

mikeapollo:As sad as this sounds, the fact is that so far the insecurity is affecting only the economically irrelevant population of Nigeria and as such I don't see it having much of an impact on the earnings of companies on the NGX |

Mfunkynation:Na you they will tell that not Loco. What stops your money reflecting in your inhouse account immediately after sales? I also have meritrade account though I stopped using it due to high charges but i am sure money reflects immediately after sales for after sales tradings |

This week is for support. Next week is for winners. ASI will close the year 150-152k. Beware of Nsempa Almageddons |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 9:59am On Nov 25, 2025 |
Market to welcome T+2 as Nov 28 approaches. ASI likely to gain +5% to +12% between late Nov and December. T+2 will 1. Improve liquidity more than expected 2. Foreign portfolio investors will return because settlement now aligns with global standards 3. Brokers will increase trading volumes 4. Year-end optimism (“Santa rally”) kicks in 5. No major negative policy or FX shock as the year ends. What you will see: Banking stocks jump first (Zenith, GTCO, UBA, Access) Insurance stocks pick up volume Big-cap industrials (BUA, Dangote, MTN) benefit from foreign inflow Penny stocks will become liquid and rally due to sentiments 👉 Finally Japaulgold and Royalex will bounce back. Happy weekend to you all. We will be back in the market from next week for our Xmas Ram. |

nosa2:How could you say such or describe people, human beings as ''economically irrelevant population'' of Nigeria? These people are farmers, they are traders, they are consumers, they are teachers, students, etc. They contribute to the economy and GDP of the nation. The performance of stock markets (all over the world) is not only about earnings of companies. Stock markets are driven by news, information among other factors. If we are fortunate to be living in the city, let us appreciate people living in remote parts of the country, they also contribute to the economy and cannot be described as ''economically irrelevant''. News of insecurity in the nation surely affects foreign investments |

ositadima1:I wanted to ignore u because u have a different side from the side I now choose to belong because of the injustices I have seen. All my life.i was hoping it will stop but it is never going to stop.So I will gladly go with Biafra. I am street for many reasons. I do go out on sit at home. The sit at home by IPOB was any day Kanu has court appearance to show solidarity. The Monday regular was never his doing He did not jump bail as he was appearing in court before the military attacked his home to kill him .The records are thr to verify We called for his release because we saw the truth happening in all SE using him as cover We had the genuine ones working for the purpose. Then many criminal elements surfaced like The state actors doing killings The kidnapping and robbery group The ritual and organ harvesting group They whr all doing evil hiding under the genuine struggle. I witnessed some of this evil happening life.We shouted for government to release him so he can continue his court case so to be able to eliminate this evil ones who always claimed it was order from Kanu. The state actors who whr equally involved needed the cover so they did everything to stop it The recent sentence is to create another round of such insecurity for 2027 elections .When thr is wide range of insecurity in a region u can use it as excuse to surprise the voters turn out in the region mostly if u see it won't support u agenda. I remain street credible |

mikeapollo: Streetinvestor2:I guess both of you missed the part of my post that said "As sad as this sounds". The fact of life is that some lives are worth more than others. We don't have to like it or agree with it but that is how the world works. You can choose to be idealistic or choose to be pragmatic. |

chimex38:It is not going to get better because this present government is a major play in it. On ngx matter. The failed government can never deliver a prosperous ngx.And if na ASi u dey base as benchmark..That thing is as good as government propaganda numbers. It never represents the broader range of true ngx. The only hope is if Nigerias get it right in 2027 and kick this failed ones out.Other ngx will vanish |
