Give me an example of a HIV patient healed? Those reports are not signed by any doctor that's the point. At least u r educated,if a document isnt signed by an authority, it would not be credible and not admitted in court. Anyone can forge any document.
There are many stricken Christian celebrities eg Cobhams Asuquo,Yinka Ayefele etc. How come they ain't been healed despite copious healing news we get everyday? If they are healed, then that would be a good evidence for miracles cos their ailments have been well documented, one is blind and the other paraplegic
You guys don't understand many things. Who told you that Ayefele is a Christian celebrity? Is it because he sings some Christian songs?

I meant the claim that it moved AFTER PRAYERS was not verified. Also the fact this cannot be properly verified is due to the movement of the gut. A good way we verify is if we put the nail in a vacuum and you pray,if if it moves, then we can agree prayers work
Prayers are not magic.

God answers prayers only when there's a problem that is beyond you. Not when there's a problem that you can solve yourself. So, you vacuum analogy does not cut it. You can only use that for a magician.

The issue is that only surgery could save the baby, and that's exactly what doctor's wanted to do. Nobody was expecting anything else. The mother prayed, and the nail turn upside down pass harmlessly through the body's intestine out of her body. It happened ONLY AFTER prayers not before. The mother came to testify online but you sit down here denying her testimony.

Tell me how you'll verify apart from the X-ray? You that even lied that peristalsis can move it when you know that peristalsis can't. You deliberately lied because you're bent on denying the miracle.

I used the milieu of a vacuum cos it's an environment that is not affected by external factors like movement (which happens in the gut) and wind. So if we put the nail in that vacuum no other factors like the above listed can impinge then prayers are done. Unfortunately it's difficult discussing science with religious folks cos it seems strange to them just like this is to you. That's why you believe prayers can turn nails
And what do you mean your god ain't a magician? A magician is one with supernatural powers. So if he 'supernaturally' turned a nail then he's a magician. End of
I'm a doctor. And I have explained myself (along with another doctor on this forum) that yes the nail can turn due to gastric motility but we don't take chances cos of the chance of perforation. Our profession works on pragmatism. Somehow this explanations cannot penetrate your religious skull. I have even dropped scientific materials explaining how peristalsis, mass movement move intestinal contents. E no enter your head. You said nobody was expecting the nail to turn but we doctors know and we know other cases where nails turn but no one is taking chances.
Now lemme assume(for the sake of this discussion) that it was her prayers. Was it prayers that turned the nails in other cases too? Those cases weren't even christians. So logically reasoning the claim that prayers turned this particular nail is dead on arrival since it has been proven nails can turn WITHOUT PRAYERS. The mother can claim anything, she is not a scientific person and doesn't understand human physiology.
So all the time I wasted in posting a scientific article on peristalsis, mass movement etc was a waste of time?

I don't have time arguing with you folks anyway. The best scientist in the world are Christians, okay?

And as a scientist myself, I can teach you science. So, rest your boasting.

Peristalsis doesn't do rotation. There's no verified scientific source that says it does. Simple.

I've closed this discussion. I may not.longer respond. It is foolishness for a two legged man to be arguing with a one legged man that men have two legs. If the one legged man believes that men have one leg just because he has one leg, let him. What I can give you is evidence of God. Not argument.

The best scientists may be Christians (even though there are more atheist scientists now) but none of them would attribute any phenomenon to supernatural actions. None!
Did you even read any excerpts from Guyton and Hall that I posted? So you read a scientific article and you're still stuck in 'prayer turn nail' pigheadedness?
You say you're a scientist and you agree that prayers turned a nail? Oh my fvcking days!
This corntree is truly in trouble if truly you're one. No wonder we are backwards scientifically
Science has been at loggerheads with religion
Someone would say he prayed and something happens. Ask them to prove it and it's a problem. Patient would bring a convulsing child at 3am and be praying and disturbing me. I usually tell them to either take the child home and continue with their stvpid prayers or shut up and allow me to do my scientific work. They usually do the later. If truly your god works miracles through medical science,he won't make make medical science very costly that only the rich can afford it
You have no evidence of your god.

I have shown you my evidence which is a scientific text. You have shown none. Keep arguing
So if doctors pray before treating patients, does it mean it's the prayers that healed the patients? You see how confused you are
Christian scientists won't tell you that a nail that turned in the gut was due to prayers. They won't. They would keep their Christianity one side and conduct research. That's what science is all about

And that's all lies. All doctors admit the supernatural when the unexplainable happens. If that woman has heard a different explanation from the doctors involved, she wouldn't have come on Tik Tok to tell a different story about how prayer helped solve the nail ingestion problem of her baby.

The fact that many Christian doctors pray before treating patients is a sure indicator that they believe in miracles and indeed it does happen.

And that I'm not among your 1% is good news. Those 1% you have in your list who don't know Jesus and who have never seen Jesus miracles in their lives should remain with you. I don't belong to that 1%.

Hey, let's have some evidence of God manifesting love to the patients in your hospital. How do we reach them so that God can touch those who deserve His touch?

Correction, not all doctors admit the supernatural. Even the ones that admit the supernatural are Christians and it doesn't mean it's supernatural. For example, when spontaneous cancer remission(which i used as an example before but u r too blinded to read) happens in a Christian. A Christian doctor would say it's god. But scientifically we know it isn't. It's due to multiple factors which include patient immunity. Also I agree we dont everything about cancer remission, however it's not enough to insert god into that knowledge gap. There was a time we attribute a lot of stuff to god like babies, floods, lightning. In the end science came through
For you to say a scientific journal is lying about peristalsis and mass movement shows how religion has eroded your brain and made it poor.
So if a doctor prays before surgery,it was his prayer that worked. So what or who do we blame if there is an anesthetic issue or hemorrhagic shock or a cardiac arrest leading to death? Do we blame the doc or your god for ignoring the doc? cheesy

Why are you changing my words? I repeat All doctors admit the supernatural when the unexplainable happens. And you quickly said the ones that admit the supernatural are Christians and it doesn't mean it's supernatural. You see yourself?

If a doctor pays before surgery, the surgery has a higher chance of success than the ones for which he didn't pray. A doctor who has learnt this by experience will continue praying. Those praying doctors are known to have higher success rates and low mortality rates in their hospitals. They often become popular because of the God factor.
God works according to your belief. If you believe God for healing through a safe surgery, you'll get it. If you believe God for healing without surgery, you'll get it too. I have gotten it many times for myself and for those around me!

The most important thing you've said here now is that some Christian doctors admit the supernatural. But you who KNOW BETTER THAN THEM AND HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTAND OF THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE THAN THEY THEMSELVES now have the final say on their person professional experiences. You yourself wouldn't even know that you're under a very strong satanic manipulation, yet admitting that the same Satan who is manipulating you does not exist. What an irony? That'd the exact like of an atheist. It a spiritually foolish thing to be an atheist. I do not mean to insult you pls. Just trying to let you see the reality of things. The world is strongly spiritual and you're walking ignorantly thinking everything is physical while the spiritual continues to control your life.

Let me talk you something, anything you have no control over is controlled by someone else. Let that sink please. You have no control over your own line and the experience you have from day to day because someone else controls that aspect your life. Denying it is just too foolish. I just hope you could understand what I'm saying. I'm not insulting you.

See, I have walked thickly in the Reality of the spirit realm. I cannot be arguing with you. It's too condescending.

When christians tell me Christianity is a spiritual thing, I laugh. Wait oh. You're saying that all doctors admit the supernatural? So what am I? Do I admit the supernatural? You well so? cheesy
So what if I tell you many doctors that DONT PRAY have higher chances of successful surgeries? What do you say? grin I'm sure you'll ignore this question and run like you have been doing.
Oga which doctors have lower surgical outcomes? Name the hospitals. At least I have my data. I don't pray and I have better outcomes in my procedures. So your god works with or without surgery. Now answer this question.... WHAT IF ONE DOESN'T BELIEVE OR PRAY,DOES HE GET WELL AFTER TREATMENT? Please don't dodge.
Christian doctors pray out of habit. I have seen several Christian doctors pray and end up with mortalities. I have seen an obs and gyne pray during resuscitate of a woman with post partum hemorrhage and she didn't make it. I have seen the same obs and gyne try to resuscitate a woman that had pulmonary embolism after surgery and she still died. In all instances, he prayed and he's a Winner pastor. He is now in Bayelsa. He did his residency in UPTH. I have seen 2 doctors who are pediatricians pray and lose babies. What are you talking about? You're just an outsider that know nothing in medical practice.
So spiritual controls physical? Eeeh. So which spiritual powers are controlling Nigeria? grin
So you walk in the spiritual realm? Awesome. LordReed cuman see something oh grin grin grin

Science is agnostic at worse. Or agnostic atheistic at best. Meaning it cannot prove the existence of a deity or supernatural

Science is all about the natural world as we interact with it. Religion believe in the supernatural, which cannot be proven.
An example. I can tell you I have a dragon in my garage and it's invisible. Science would not prove it cos there's no way it can be proven scientifically. Religion would say yes it's possible. That only the spiritually discerning would see this dragon. Also this religion has many people using it,some say this dragon is red, some say it blue, some say it's black etc. This is how denominations pop up in Christianity. Since it's 'spiritual',no one can ascertain anything and can say it's anything.
Now the problem with this is scientifically,we don't know if truly this dragon exists at all since we can't prove it our own way.
Feel me?

Feel me?
But you agree that science does not disprove the supernatural?

Ok so you agree that science does not disprove either?
It cannot.
Now answer this. Can you prove that there is no spider on top of your head?

Science cannot disprove the supernatural. The question is HOW DO WE KNOW THE SUPERNATURAL EXISTS?
