Point of correction.
I have no “ministry” here. I don’t promote Japaul (I’m not a gold digger), and I don’t run campaigns for ROYALEX either.
Read his comment on exaggeration, A write up drafted from my heart to inspire readers.

I come here simply to share my personal investment journey in a transparent and motivating way—no hype, no exaggeration, no “lamba.” Just the real, humble me, no envy, no debt leverage.
I genuinely like Presco’s business model. My average break-even price is ₦185.
I didn’t take up my rights issue. I left the original 20,000 units acquired in 2023 for my children and have been enjoying the dividends with my family ever since.
By the way, since when did holding a small quantity of any winning or drowning stock become a crime?
If I’m comfortable with my strategy and the size of my position, I honestly owe no one an explanation for not buying more.
Of course, I don’t have a crystal ball, and I’m definitely not a genius like Osita or Awesome. I also don’t hate my beautiful country. I believe that, in no distant time, Nigeria will overcome the challenges of insecurity, inflation, and corruption that have weakened our institutions.
God bless my fatherland.
Nigeria shall be great again.
Lol.. "Ministry" was taken out of context. Maybe I should have explained.
By "Ministry" I meant he was supporting your investment strategic as a testament to your gains on NCR as against those who said it's more of luck.
Yet, you seem to rope him in as among those you claim was pained.
That was my point.

If you truly believe in a company and the price fall, just look for money and be averaging down.

This is what I have been doing and I am proud I did it.
At last na great win for me as bull is decending on Japaul now.

Those who entered or averaged down today are winners from next week.

Thank you for acknowledging you don't loose money until you sell.

God bless
This is one benefit of the Nigerian stock market.

A good stock at a cheap valuation will usually not dip for long.

It will recover (even if its partial recovery).

Cheers!

Don't be too optimistic or too sure. The CGT issue is not yet permanently resolved with certainty, and that Taiwo guy may say something again that would disrupt the market once more.
Analysts give reasons for everything.

If the market rallies, People/investors want to know why. Thus, analysts provide them with why and vice versa when bearish.

The market is actually overextended as it has rallied for long.

It is normal for the market to experience a pullback. When this happens, people ask why, and whatever is trending at the moment is provided as the reason.

A technical analyst wont even be bothered with what is happening now. Markets simply rise and fall (Whether bear or bull).

In a bull market, you see higher highs while the reverse is the case in a bear market.

For me, this correction should have happened a few months before. That way, we would have been seeing recovery now which would/should metamorphose into a full santa claus rally towards the end of the year.

Back to the matter, the CGT is really an issue. However, it is not the main reason for the markets present lacklustre performance.

Cheers

Bull that is set.
There will be great rally this season even if CGT is set at 50%.

Make sure you have some units of stocks else what happened to Peter will repeat itself on you.
During crucification of Jesus,Peter turn to him and wept because his words came to fulfilment.

I repeat again, stocks are set for a great rally.
I like your confidence.

But for the sake of the general public.

It would be nice if you tone down the confidence a little.

Instead of will, you can use will likely. This is to show that it is probable and not certain.

There are people that make investment decisions from blog posts.

While that is not ideal, it is good to have them in mind when posting.

One love sir!

E be like say oando lost today in the market, the udele customer don vex come here again.
grin grin grin
I closed most of my positions as I expected a correction.

However, I did not expect Oando to decline when the correction happens.

For this reason, Oando is the only stock I am holding with my full chest.

Its performance has been a shocker to me (and my portfolio).

The reasons I bought it when I was closing other positions are as follows:

1. Strong growth potential (driven by acquisitions and political moats)
2. Very cheap valuation. This combined with no 1 above is a recipe for multibagger performance.
3. Proposed equity capital raise at N50. Using banks as precedents, a rally may occur (e.g fidelity, GTCO, e.t.c. with price appreciation of more than 100% post capital raise.
4. Conversion of debt to equity plus capital raise to boost the company's balance sheet and make its book value positive.

Last last, the stock's performance rubbished my analysis grin grin grin

For newbies, this does not mean that analyses do not work. Instead, it shows that analysis gives you about 70% probability to be right (not an assurance)

Cheers guys

Psychological support for ASI is 145,000
Let's see if it will be actualized in the coming days.
My take,if 145k holds strong,we will see 150k level by 31st December.This is what I pray for.

Currently sitting at 143k.If this 143k is broken,we may see support at 138k.At this level,we may be in for a longer beers(days of no activities)
In my opinion, the ASI is reflective of what the largest companies do.

For instance, Airtelafri remains very cheap compared to its LSE counterpart (AAF LN).

In the event of a serious bear in low cap and mid caps (and stability in high caps).

In Nigeria, many high caps can be fully offered without a price change.

In a bearish day, if Airtel (and one or two more large cap) rises significantly, the ASI would behave as though the market is slightly bullish.

In a nutshell, my point is that the ASI may not be reflective of the broad market performace and should not be use for broad market analysis.

One love sir

Cheers!

@Agbalowomeri,
I understand.
When you missed Transcorp from sub N1.20 to N50+, you called it manipulation.
When you missed Transcorp Hotels from N6 to N120+, you called Tony Elumelu a cowboy.
Now that NCR has gone from N3 to N72+ in the same market where you’ve been shouting “everything is manipulated,” it’s still manipulation.
At this point, it’s no longer the stocks that are the problem.
It’s the mirror.
I once told you that a degree in market timing and TA is not a guaranty for success in the market. I hope you are still timing the index to reach your crystal ball level of 50,000? Keep enjoying your fixed income assets.
One day, when the next forgotten stock quietly turns N200,000 into N10 million+ while you’re still typing “manipulation,” maybe the pattern will finally click.
Until then, keep condemning.
The rest of us will keep buying the ones you hate, and keep thanking you for the conviction confirmation.
God bless you abundantly, Mr Agbalowomeri. Your service to patient investors is deeply appreciated.

It is not based on luck! grin

What is the 20 years earning and dividend history of Niger Insurance. cry I know it must be E8 or F9(that is,very poor).

Earning and dividend history is a great determinant to know whether the future of a company will be good or bad!
Just like NCR that has done over 2000% for someone abi?
