Beware of Bamboo.
They were the pioneers for bringing NGX to the masses but they have issues regarding updating pricing and customer service. I use Cardinal stone and they reply emails fast (they reoleid me within 20mins this morning for eg). I don't know what kind of service you are looking for but my Customer Service experience so far has been great.

Modified: You can ask Cardinal stone about the services you listed before enlisting.

Thank you. Customer service is very important for me

Question to the house:
Please, what does it generally take for a broker like Meristem to assign a dedicated account officer or offer access to more tailored services such as specialized products, detailed research reports, or reduced fees?

Is there a specific portfolio threshold that typically qualifies a client for that level of attention? If yes, what ballpark range are we talking about?

I’m currently not satisfied with the level of service I’m receiving, especially considering the fees and I’m wondering whether it’s simply because my portfolio, while modest, is within the upper double-digit millions.

Are there brokers out there who provide stronger client engagement and better support for investors in that range? I’m beginning to feel like I may be too small for Meristem and might get better treatment elsewhere if I move.
thanks in advance

All the indexes are up except one or two that are not necessary in this Santa bull.

Time for my speculative and volatile stock to gap up.

I think you have a comprehension problem.

Or maybe you didn't read all the posts on the conversation.

If you understand my posts(which are quite easy to understand), you would realize I never downplay anyone's achievement. My opinion is that everyone should stick to what they understand.

But the guy clearly thinks because he made 2000% off 1% of his portfolio after waiting for 5 years, then he's the only one that has a working strategy.

I just had to give him the correct perspective so he can calm down. That's not downplaying his achievement.

If you didn't have a silly bias, you would obviously see that he's the one who thinks trading doesn't work, simply because he's completely clueless on successful trading strategies.
I think he is not aware that the fastest way to get rich in stock market is trading but buying and selling often is harder than buying and only getting dividends.

N500,000 would have bought a Tokunbo V booth Benz in 2002 or 100,000 units of Presco.

With the 1 for 1 bonus shares, it will grow to 200,000 units of Presco shares currently valued at N280 million and paid a total dividend of N14 million from August 2025 to date

To break out now @ current price

✓ The buying volume and traded volume should add up tremendously

✓The bid depths has to increase sharply at least 20-25m bids (overall bids)

✓volume of sell order must reduce from 3.8m to below 2m units

If these happen at intra day trading 12.30-1.30pm,enjoy the bull technically

Does this make the price of the RI cheap.I don't think so.The management was not considerate to minority shareholders in the price.. The essence of RI to shareholders is to buy at discount if u decide to pickup the offer. Or trade it and make something no matter how small as shareholder.

Then lastly tell them it doesn't speak well of them to declare full yr dividend in march and be making payments in August..It makes it look like they don't have the money on ground
Abi they keep it for this long to make interest for some people. I don't just understand

My stance is that there are many ways to make money in this market, I never speak against people's strategies cos it works for them, where i have issues is when participants who only know about having to do long boring waits to buy or sell try to comment on trading strategies that they still need 10 years to learn.

Get the cumulative earning per share from 2025 to 2029 growing at 35% per annum and see if it is up to N1420, that should give you an idea if it is cheap or not.

By the way 35% is very conservative based on their 10 years compounded annualized earning growth rate

The beauty of our market.
You thinking it's cheap, someone else thinking it's not = liquidity (The traders lubricant)

If someone like @Locotrader were to have started trading in 2002. And he makes 15% every quarter, that N500,000 would have amounted to more than N38 billion . I think trading is better than dividend investing. cool

I guess they have cancelled the Capital Gains Tax. grin

Last last everybody go dey alright. After this rally there will be a pull back and people will find another reason to explain that pull back and we will buy when they are dumping and we shall continue the rinse and repeat.

My advise to anybody that wants to make money in this market is to get a value in their head and play their own game. The market will always be crazy, if you want to follow the madness the market will gladly take your money.

Less than 2 weeks ago people could not wait to dump the stocks they are rushing to buy now. Nothing has changed oh
