Just got a mail from Ellah registrars CODROS that offer closes today. Doesn't look like there'll be an extension grin
Unofficial feedback they have extended the offer.

We wait till next week for more clarity

You had similar projection for aviation holding company. In thr last results, I don't see it happening or possible. So this is not guaranteed. Even the last wahala by edo government can cause anything. Forget that the state government came to deny it.The guy that was sacked was just the fall guy.i know how Nigeria work.Such thing won't have happened without the governor knowing. He just took cover.i am sure because of outcry from all quarters
Which Aviation holding company?

N250 billion na your mate.

They should have asked for N20 billion, manage it well, grow the business, be profitable, pay dividends and ask for another money after 2 to 3 years

Are you sure Presco completed theirs? I know plenty of people who didn’t take up their rights, lol.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 4:25pm On Dec 05, 2025
Majority of retail investors did not take their rights, but institutional investors took their rights and asked for additional rights.

If it was not successful, Presco would have made an announcement for extension on the 2nd of December 2025 when the offer closed

Or they decide to do with what they could raise. IB didn't meet thr target and didn't do extention. They got btw 70-80 % of what they wanted mostly from majority holder. When they official announce we go know.

Na one yeye kpakus dey talk of 250 billion with that kind tie and head office
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 4:51pm On Dec 05, 2025
The day Japaul will approach sec for 500 billion fund raising.
Walahi SEC will call efcc on them lol.
This people think the money is now tissue paper. Even as the country is called disgraced nation. They suppose still get small respect for the naira

Is it just the tie? What about the suit? But maybe it’s just the style, sha. Rich people like looking unique, they’re tired of the normal stuff. Lol

It’s common sense.

Even VFD group with an amazing result extended for 50billion RI.
I agree with you on this.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 5:35pm On Dec 05, 2025
I wish them much success, but the more interesting question is what happens if Ellah falls far short of the N155bn it needs to buy the oil palm plantation it is betting on to "arrive."

SIAT control 60% of Presco outstanding shares and they took up all their rights. The remaining 40% are being taken over by insiders, institutional and retail investors. It's very likely the results will be a little shy off the target and investors are on standby to claim them.

if they fall short, it would be difficult meeting up with the balance. They will also have to source for money to complete the asset purchase.
Then them go need to write looong forward looking statement.

Institutional investors include Pension Fund Managers, Mutual Fund Managers, Insurance companies, Corporate Trustees etc.

Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers has 50 million shares of Presco and they are the biggest pension fund manager in Nigeria.

Stanbic IBTC Asset Management has Presco shares and are also the biggest mutual fund manager in Nigeria.

I looked at the September 2025 facts sheets of United Capital Asset Management, Chapel Hill Denham, FBN Quest Asset Management, GT Fund Managers Stanbic IBTC Asset Management last week and they all have 20% and above of their funds invested in Agricultural stocks.

Below are the top 10 stocks in the portfolio of United Capital Asset Management.

The institutional investors took their rights and asked for additional shares

The equity fund of United Capital Asset Management is valued at N5.9 billion, but over N800 million was Invested in Presco

The trend in their performance history you shared shows they will underperform the index next year and outperform in 2027.

Why is their performance a perfect zig zag like that? 😁😁😁

They held on to BUA cement for a long time, when they should be buying Lafarge at less than N30.

What I look for in fact sheets of the various Mutual Fund Managers is the stocks in their portfolio.

Ohh..
Na other people's money na.

They can't kee their self.

Even if they make losses they'll still get fat cheques.

Maybe when I grow up I will have a fund that guarantees 40% p.a for subscribers.

Not guarantee really just absolute returns, cos If the assets do better, they still won't get above 40%, and when wicked bears show too, they'll still get 40%.

What did you do differently though?

Your screenshots today have been crisp and legible.

Please keep the settings.

I can send even read what should be fine prints off the images.

Modified:
The GTB own is what's super crisp.

The UCAP is just slightly better.

Seeing SEPLAT reminds me that some of the returns they quote sef are not real.

Like they'll be valuing SEPLAT like that at 5800 when they can't really exit above 5200 in today's market.

There should be another form of marked to market that doesn't just use unrealistic reference prices.

Another nice screenshot.

So far none of them has Airtel.

And Airtel is already a 6k stock.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m):
Do you know why lottery winners usually go broke?

It is because they don't have the capacity for the money that came their way, so the money will be wasted till it gets to their capacity.

Eg you have a 5 liters container and you are trying to pour a content of 20 liters into it. You will end up wasting 15 liters of the content.

Better to pour 5 liters, after using the content eg water or petrol, you pour another 5 liters and continue again and again.

A company that has not made a revenue of N500 million per annum in the last 10 years is now looking for N250 billion from investors. They did not ask for N10 billion, no be juju be dat?

There is a high probability that the fund will not be optimally utilized

How much liquid cash is in the system at the moment? (Free from CBN's claws)

If we say N10trn, it means only 40 entities can attract N250bn at the moment.

How much funds are people rather keeping to buy up the largest refinery in the world that could open up for sale in less than 12 months?

But those who believe in a company certainly have their valid perspectives too.

Our own is to balance the views.

I must own Dangote Refinery even if it overpriced, I will show my own little solidarity to Alhaji. He has done much more for this country than those piling up private jets and empty Asokoro mansions.

Worse are those siphoning money to swiss accounts.

Sometimes your comments on Ellah lakes irritates me a lot.
This is a company that has been bashed by many in the past and it keeps on defying people.

Are the Mgt so bias that they don't know the value of N250B or they don't know what prompted them to look for such amount?
Even if they are unable to raise the money is none of your business.

Do you have any stake with them?No
Pls allow them to raise their money in peace.
What of if the offer is oversubscribed?
What will you have to say?

Peter thought that the Gentiles were unclean until God shewed him in the house of Cornelius.

Mind you that Ellah lakes can turn to be the leader in that sector tomorrow. Its a matter of policies favouring them.
