Lady Who Spent $15,000 To Bring Her Husband To The US Shares Reason She Had Him Deported I deported my husband. I didn’t just divorce him; I put him on a plane back to the trenches. And I slept like a baby the night he left. Half the people in my church are calling me a demon. The other half are whispering that they would have done the same thing. But before you type "Wicked Woman" in the comments, listen to what this man did to me. My name is Sarah. I’m a Registered Nurse living in Houston, Texas. I worked double shifts, standing on my feet for 12 hours a day, wiping backsides and taking abuse from patients, just to save enough money. Why? To bring the "Love of my Life," Michael, to America. We met when I went home for Christmas three years ago. Michael was charming, handsome, and spoke with that smooth accent that made my knees weak. He was a struggling engineer with "big dreams" but no opportunities. "Baby, if you just get me to the States, I will treat you like a Queen," he promised. "I will work hard. I will build us an empire." I believed him. I was 32, single, and lonely in a big house. I wanted a family. I spent $15,000 on lawyers, filing fees, and flights. I sponsored his K-1 Visa. When Michael landed at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, I cried tears of joy. I thought my life was beginning. For the first six months, he was perfect. He cooked. He cleaned. He rubbed my feet when I came home from the hospital. "You are my angel," he would say. We got married at the courthouse. We filed for his Green Card (Adjustment of Status). The interview was scheduled for next week. Last Sunday, I came home early from my shift because I had a migraine. The house was quiet. Michael wasn't in the living room. I walked toward the bedroom, and I heard him laughing. He was on a video call. I stopped. Something about his tone was... different. He wasn't speaking the sweet English he spoke to me. He was speaking Pidgin, fast and aggressive. "Don't worry, babe. The maga doesn't suspect anything," he said. Maga? My heart stopped. In our slang, "Maga" means a fool. A victim of a scam. I crept closer to the door. "The interview is next week," he continued, laughing. "Once I get that Green Card in my hand, I give it six months. Then I will file for divorce, claim 'irreconcilable differences,' and by next year, I will file for you and the kids to come over. America is sweet, babe. Just be patient." A woman’s voice crackled on the speaker. "We miss you, daddy. Junior asks for you every day." "Tell Junior daddy is working on his future. This woman is just the ladder. You are the owner of the house." I didn't scream. I didn't kick down the door. A cold calmness washed over me. The kind of calm that scares you more than anger. I walked back to my car, drove to a coffee shop, and sat there for three hours. I realized everything was a lie. The love. The foot rubs. The cooking. It was all a performance to secure his stay. I went home later that evening and acted like everything was normal. I even kissed him. But the next morning, while he was at the gym, I went to the USCIS website. I withdrew my Sponsorship. I wrote a letter to the immigration officer explaining that the marriage was fraudulent and that I was no longer willing to support him financially. I didn't tell Michael. The morning of the interview, he put on his best suit. He looked so handsome. So confident. "Ready to make us official, baby?" he asked, fixing his tie. "I'm ready," I smiled. We sat in the waiting room. When they called his name, the officer didn't invite us into an office. Two ICE officers walked out instead. They asked for his ID. They told him his petition had been withdrawn by the sponsor and his visa had expired. The look on his face? It wasn't fear. It was pure confusion. He looked at me. "Sarah? What is going on?" I stood up, smoothed my dress, and looked him dead in the eye. "I am not a ladder, Michael. And this Maga has closed the bank." I walked out of that building while he was shouting my name in handcuffs. He is currently in a detention center awaiting deportation. His family back home has been blowing up my phone, cursing me, sending me Bible verses about forgiveness. His "real wife" even sent me a DM begging me to reconsider for the sake of their children. But I feel nothing. I worked too hard for my peace to let a squatter live in it. Now, I’m sitting in my quiet house, drinking wine. Did I go too far? Should I have just divorced him and let him stay? Or did he get exactly what he ordered? Photo credit: ChatGPT Source: Facebook

Though it may sound fake but it's the usual story by the usual suspects. Worse even applies to the women over there but we don't depot them. We move on. People can now see that the volume of people who return to marry have dropped significantly. People can now confidently marry from any tribe of their choice in diaspora since they now know that eviL has no tribe, race or ethnicity. |

Nnamudi abi Lamidipapa, biko add original source to this story. I doubt this story is real because I wonder how a sensible human would do this? Something in me tells me that this is fiction and not real. Even if the woman is like amoeba, most Nigerian guys would endure so long as she was the one that brought him to the states from his struggling situation in Nigeria, highest he would do is cheat once in a while as her husband but not to plan to backstab her with one mgbeke in Nigeria, I doubt this story, op prove me wrong |

Kobojunkie:which scam? It's a fictitious story. This story can hardly happen, the possibility of it happening in real life is less than 0.0001, and only if the woman is super ugly, old and unruly to the guy on arrival to the states. I know there are some knuckle abi airheads parading themselves as men, but their number in Nigeria of today is very insignificant. And even when it happens, it can only happen between a Nigerian guy and an old, obese, unruly white lady the Nigerian guy knew wouldn't retire back to Nigeria with him at old age which is the major reason some unscrupulous Nigerian guys scammed some old white women with marriage for papers some many years back, but as at today that foreign women are now becoming proud of marrying Nigerian men and even pushing for their children to identify more with their father's Nigerian side, that marriage scam between white women and Nigerian men is becoming a thing of the past cos the white women are now proud of their Nigerian husbands and ready to even retire back to Nigeria with their Nigerian husbands at old age, which use to be the fear of most Nigerian men married to white women |

Those of you calling this fake story are either living in denial or teenagers without life experience. My friend who used to work for an airline in Nigeria later found her way abroad. After a few years she helped her boyfriend in Nigeria over, not knowing he had married his hearthrob while she was away and had kids but continued collaborating with her unto long distance relationship. She eventually helped him come to the US. After just two years, she discovered this guy had brought a woman from Nigeria but kept her in another state. Investigation revealed it was his Nigerian wife and the kids were his too. I don't know how it ended because we lost touch. It was a very terrible situation my friend was in then. |

franchasng:Whether the story is true or not, it can happen and does happen. I know a guy in Nigeria who specialized in preying on vulnerable women by promising them marriage. He was married with 4 children at the time. His wife was in on the whole scam. Once, one of his victims suspected foul play and trailed him to his house. One morning, he drove out of his compound and this woman was standing there arguing with the gateman who wouldn't let her into the compound without first calling Oga, To say he was shocked is an understatement. Tried everything but the lady refused to leave. They were there until his wife came outside the house to meet them. When she recognized the maga, she lost her cool and pounced on the woman and even bit her on one ear. The fight drew attention of neighbors who appealed to the maga to leave. She left and came back shortly with policeman who promptly arrested both husband and wife. Nothing came out of the case anyway. The maga took her L and left it for God. 🙁 She spent millions on this guy. He was even setting her up with fake prophets and they were duping her and he was getting a share. A lot of stories then. The man is late now. Died of HIV related issues but his wife and accomplice is okay. Her savior was that they became estranged for some years before he got the "gun". |

Michael was so close to the price but that video call messed it up. I hope things turn around for him.For Sarah, you taught you'll buy a man from Nigeria and he wouldn't have baggages? Now what next? Will you go and buy another man? |
| Re: I Had My Husband Deported by SisterAnn(f): 6:21am On Dec 06, 2025 |
Host78:Come off your insecurities. If she was poor, you'd still ask what she's bringing to the table. Now she's comfortable, you are still not okay with that. |
| Re: I Had My Husband Deported by SisterAnn(f): 6:25am On Dec 06, 2025 |
IkeIgboNiile:How did she buy a man? You motchas here mock broke girls and call them gold diggers. You mock ladies who say the man must be rich or no deal and you call them gold diggers. She's comfortable and falls in love with a broke ass, you say she's buying a man. Haba! The is nothing but tinubu induced third world insecurities. You motchas should really look inwards. |
