If u have issue me quoting u.I apologise. The Ellahlakes was not really into palm business. Telluria was already an existing palm farm. You can do ur finding on Telluria farm. The results of 5 yrs with no revenue in an agriculture business I know is false. Food crops are annual crops And with that kind land banks in 3 states.it was suppose to be a kill unless nigeria happens to the farm. What other evidence do u need when it was in quater results for previous yrs and thr full yr result. Infact the last full yr result is a big disgrace for such company. Can u say for fact that palm oil is already coming out from the mill.Is oil mill too a rocket science
Sorry say I quote u.i no do again
Telluria was already an existing farm with land, assets, and the intent to specialize in oil palm, but it was not operating as a mature, cash-flowing commercial plantation ready for immediate harvest and sale. Have you seen any evidence that there were palm trees on the Telluria land prior to the merger or acquisition? When was the mill commissioned? And can a mill generate revenue before commissioning?

No spare funds for now. Also e dey do me one kind to pay N12+ when I bought my current holding at N3.50.. Chuka is crafty.. I think we can all agree on this. Won't sit down and allow someone take him over.. elumelu too escaped an otedola takeover of transcorp if I'm not mistaken
A crafty person won't mind if he is overthrown. Immediately the offer is completed the money will be paid by the issuing house to the company, even before the allotment is made public.

If from the allotment, insiders see that the company now has a new core investor. Insiders can decide to lavish the fund and their will be nothing for the new core investor to work with.

Management who wants control of their business will not issues shares that are more than their current outstanding shares to the public.

With the current 3 billion outstanding shares of the company, they might offer about 2 billion to the public not 18 billion.

What management Ellah Lakes did with current public offer shows desperation or they don't care if another people become the new core investors and those new core investors will definitely sack Chuka and his team.

Then the extension of the public offer by 2 weeks would not have occurred.

No reasonable insider will offer to the public shares that are about 500% of their current outstanding shares

emmanuelewumi:
This is not the first acquisition by Ellah Lakes, what is the value created and profit made from the previous acquisitions.

If you overpay, it will affect your return.

The acquisition made by Presco and the efficiency of the company will grow Earning Per Share from N72 in 2024 to about N150 in 2025 they have already made N111 in Q3.

Investors need people who deliver, say and do.

Below is the timetable of the right offer, they came to the market a week after Ellah Lakes, but Ellah Lakes that came earlier had to extend the offer by another 2 weeks.

So we should ask ourselves where are the so called investors who have been on standby to invest in the offer.

I love management who says it as it is and not those who sugar coat things
Okay, Presco is a solid company, no doubt. We’ll see soon enough how things play out with Ellah Lakes.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 11:56am On Dec 10, 2025
I might be proved wrong oooo, but in this business one should not be surprised with any outcome, think of any possibility that might play out based on the history, antecedent and efficiency of the management.

My mentor told me that in stock market

1. Pray for the best

2. Plan for the unexpected

3. Prepare for the worst.

Unfortunately most of us only pray for the best, even from companies that have been consistently inconsistent

Presco buying entity with machine yet to be bought, what happens to just paying for what is on ground asset wise rather than giving the money to the seller to buy it..

Nobody is talking about this because it's presco buying which is termed the best board ever liveth..no wahala.

A woman frying akara beside road is termed hassler while the man doing the same is a poor man, no wahala.. grin grin

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe:
Why you dey fall my hand? Presco has nearly double the plantation size you credit them for; has average maturity of 8-10 years vs. ARPN's ~4 years (so much higher yield); and makes 99% of sales from value-added crude oil and refined products, which are significantly more profitable, compared with ARPN's mostly fresh fruit sales. Knowing this, do you still think ARPN was good value?

I'll just let your suggestion about Ellah's "operational depth" stand unaddressed.

ositadima1:
This is not a clear or objective argument; it is like someone speaking from a pre-existing negative bias. And in that second point, why should I be the one justifying your argument with numbers?

Let’s consider some simplified comparisons. Presco has a market capitalization of about ₦1.45 trillion with roughly 26,566 hectares of planted oil-palm. Okomu is valued at about ₦1.03 trillion with around 19,011 hectares planted. ARPN, the asset Ellah is acquiring, is valued at approximately ₦155 billion and has about 6,280 hectares of planted oil-palm. When you compute the implied per-hectare valuation, Presco comes out at roughly ₦54.6 million per hectare and Okomu at about ₦54.2 million per hectare. ARPN, at Ellah’s valuation, is around ₦24.7 million per hectare.

It’s a simplified calculation, yes, but it clearly shows that ARPN is cheaper on a per-hectare basis. If you have a different valuation model, then you should present it.

Your first point also doesn’t logically support your conclusion. The CEO not being an agriculture professional is not a disqualifying factor for running an agricultural company, that is simply not how corporate execution works. The more relevant questions would be whether Ellah has operational depth, whether it has the execution capacity to integrate a much larger entity, and whether it has the political and local-stakeholder leverage required in the plantation business. Those are the real issues, not the CEO’s academic background

A stock that pulls back intraday and still closes at the high of the day is usually showing accumulations.

Major crossed deal of 436m units was done in October at 2.50.

This means the stock is trading at huge discounts.
Retail traders can only push the price up above N3.

Tomorrow, watch out for early morning sharp rise on the stock.

Lol, I don’t think I’ll be doing your homework for you. If you claim it’s a premium, then justify it with hard numbers. What’s your valuation compared to the price they’re paying? If all you have is a string of words with no data, then we really need to question how you’re reaching your conclusions.

Do we really need to go any further? I know if I show you a perfect woman, you'll still argue that her hips are rotated 0.2 degrees, but we can see the writing on the wall: ARPN is nominally valued at roughly the same price per hectare as Presco -- without Presco's significant yield expansion and unit margin differential. As Cathie Wood would say, Presco is riding on two colliding S curves.

ARPN's valuation is like paying for Presco at today's valuation -- 10 years ago.

Love to see simple numbers like this. It shows Ellah has room to grow from current PO price.

I can imagine the owners of ARPN will be the majority owners of Ellah post PO. Or some market makers. And these people will be the majority owners of Ellah post PO and will be the ones managing the business going forward.

My bet is these ARPN owners & or some market makers will be the new majority shareholders of Ellah going forward. And will play key roles in making their investment successful while enjoying the benefits of being listed on NGX.

Will pick up some PO to add to my front row positions once I cross check these simple numbers.
