25 Lessons I Learnt in 2025

1. When you confirm that someone truly loves you, protect their heart.
Don’t betray genuine love. If the relationship can’t work, end it early—not with deception.
Some lovers are not weak; betrayal can awaken a part of them you can’t control.

2. Don’t depend on promises.
Treat promises as talk until they are delivered. Never pause your own journey waiting for someone else’s “bright future.”

3. Have a clear map for your life.
What do you want? Once you answer that, the paths ahead become obvious and distractions lose power.

4. Stop caring about public opinion.
People will mock and misunderstand you. Ignore the noise and stay faithful to your plan.

5. Seek truth relentlessly.
A heart committed to truth gains wisdom naturally. You won’t need constant external guidance.

6. Appreciate beauty.
Ugliness—whether in mindset, environment, or company—breeds negativity.
Surround yourself with beauty: nature, art, people, architecture.

7. Practice kindness.
It costs nothing, yet pays in ways you can’t measure.

8. Justice matters.
“Eye for an eye” isn’t about revenge—it’s about accountability. Forgiveness is noble, but it should come after consequences, not instead of them.

9. See the light in people.
Most people have value if you look closely.
But don’t waste your energy on the unrepentant fool.

10. Become valuable.
Value attracts opportunities and allies. It gives you leverage anywhere you go.

11. Never beg.
Not for food, not for money.
Begging chips away at dignity and kills creativity. Work—no matter how hard or dirty—strengthens you in ways begging never will.

12. Always stay optimistic.
Optimism is fuel. Pessimism slowly poisons your spirit and blinds you to opportunities.

13. Don’t isolate yourself.
Community is strength. Solutions, encouragement, and opportunities often come through people.

14. Give more than you receive.
Givers control the game. Just as lenders are above borrowers, givers stand above receivers.

15. Dress well and smell good.
Luxury is not cost—it’s presentation. You can look like quality without spending like royalty.

16. Life is long, but speed matters.
Resources are limited; early movers win.
Think like a strategist, act with urgency.

17. Avoid procrastination.
If it must be done, do it now. Tomorrow has destroyed more dreams than failure ever did.

18. Think in years, not days.
Long-term thinking helps you avoid short-term foolishness.
Ask: If I keep doing this for five years, who will I become?

19. Hope is not a strategy.
Work is.
Miracles are rare;
Consistent action is predictable.

20. Value people who value you.
Don’t invest in those who treat you like an option. Even money isn’t worth losing your dignity for.

21. Don’t just learn skills—learn leverageable skills.
Choose skills that create momentum, not skills that trap you.

22. Humans are manipulative—yourself included.
Understand the game.
Play it with integrity, but don’t be naïve.

23. Many secretly want you to fail.
Your failure validates their fears and insecurities. Use that silent pressure as fuel to succeed.

24. Don’t fear failure.
Failure is a teacher, not a grave.
Allow yourself to fall, learn, rise, and evolve.

25. Take care of your health and let your food be your medicine because if not, drugs/medicine would become your food

26. Learn to appreciate yourself, don't wait for your pastor or your wife or brother/ sister
Or your colleague, your oga or any of your inner circle to praise you before you will feel good. You need to tap yourself and said " I did well" then take yourself out for a dinner, baby let's talk about some juices.

If you have been a liability, cut off

If you have been stressing me unnecessary, cut off

Those who do something just to satisfy their egos with the expectations of apologizing later, cut off

If you need something from me which will cost me money, either pay for it or go and get it elsewhere

Those who lie without feeling any remorse, cut off as they don't change

How far, how short messages with no purpose are allowed to rotten in my inbox

Applying NL blocking really made the difference towards the end of the year. Some people can be distracting, blocking them save me unnecessary headache

You see that lesson 4 well it is dicey. I remembered when I wanted to undertake some task and a lot of people that heard about it started telling me to reconsider, at first I was like, Bleep off to them all. But something just told me to try and even follow what they are saying and trust me, it was the better decision I took. So I think that sometimes public opinion might not come from place of hate or puck nosing but from care.
Then for lesson 13 and 15, it opened doors for me this year.
Infact ehn they work in synergy your dress sense will make you mix and roll with high value people. Another thing is please try get one or two high end accessories, it helps like magic. That wristwatch, bag, suit, shoe it does the trick many times over.

You call it fake life, I laugh, there is a very huge difference between fake life and dressing well.
I just don’t know how to explain it, but you see as a man the way you dress tells a lot.
Imagine a young guy wearing a well ironed natural color senator and someone wearing a faded polo and jeans, both have the same IQ and both are going to meet a client or attending an interview or both are working a corporate job. Who will be rated more?

One lesson I learned some three years ago is, in the business world have allies and ensure that key people like you, one way to boost that likeability is your appearance.

I don’t know about your current stage in life, but please dress well. It is a spice that will make things work faster and better for you.
