If your story is really true, then either of the following happened:

1.Probably your conscience triggered you into backtracking on your seductive approach to your cousin's husband
2.He refused to fall for your seduction & you felt frustrated to change back into something decent to save face (you are probably not his type or he's highly disciplined).
3. You realized that your cousin will disgrace you if she finds out you are trying to seduce her husband
