It depends on his capital base, if he is investing with 1billion, it's not too diversified.

When you are a HNI you can afford to make less money but you can't afford to lose alot of money by concentrating.

Concentration should be for people trying to get rich (hit networth of ₦100m)
Berkshire Hathaway's public stock portfolio holds around 41 to 46 individual stocks, with the exact number fluctuating slightly, but recent reports from late 2025 show approximately 46 distinct stock positions.

As of the latest official report (the Q3 2025 SEC 13F filing, with data as of September 30, 2025), the publicly disclosed equity portfolio of Berkshire Hathaway was valued at approximately $267.33 billion

Every security in our portfolio is a servant to be sent on errands.

After having emergency reserve in a Money Market Fund or Eurobond that will handle emergencies.

There are different securities for school fees, house rent, flenjour, extra curricula activities, Detty December etc

I have bonds that pay coupons in February and August, March and September, May and November, June and December.

The first dividend for the year comes in around March. Someone sold his UBA shares few years ago because the company cut dividends and that affected his financial plan for the year. UBA dividend was meant to pay his house rent

Sold NGX to buy Zenith

Sold NASCON to buy Nahco

Sold Seplat to buy Aradel.

Bought NASCON at a single digit price.

Bought Seplat at less than N600.
Okay, it was more of Capital reallocation selling for you than anything fundamentally wrong with those businesses.

Of course. See below. It's been a minute, so unfortunately I can't pinpoint the specific timestamps. Ellah also has an extensive video (I think it was on Spaces) where they also discuss some yield and pricing metrics, but I don't have it now.

Here are some of my notes on oil palm economics from the events:

Cultivation
Harvested year round: Highest yielding oil, 5-10x more than rapeseed, sunflower, soy
- 4-5 years to cash flow
- 9 years to peak production
- 25 years to maturity
- Replant at year 30
- Spacing 9m on center

Yield
• Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB): 20-25 tons per ha
(Presco currently at 12.8 tons, going to 14 tons)
• Crude Palm Oil (CPO): 3.74 metric tons per ha

Price
• FFB: ~N200k per ton
• CPO: ~$900 per metric ton
Okay, thank you

Sold the small banks to buy a market leader ie Zenith

Sold NASCON to buy Nahco a compounder with a Return on Invested Capital of over 50%

Sold Seplat because of the never ending increase in their outstanding shares to increase my position in Aradel

Heard SEPLAT will do Something about the Shareprice next year, but something has to happen in LSE first for that to happen.

I'm struggling to understand the growth Trajectory for NAHCO. Their main cash cow (International Airlines) has been struggling with low passenger traffic since 2021 or so. There hasn't been an improvement this year; to call it a compounder with no visible growth path is hard for me.

Check the profit margin growth from 2020 to date.

Revenue growth

Return on Equity growth from 18% in 2020 to over 70% in 2024.

Return on Invested Capital growth.

Earning growth from 20k in 2020 to N6.60k in 2024, with a high probability of at least EPS of N10.00 in 2025

Nahco is one of the stocks that will give me an 8 digit dividend in the next 5 to 6 months

HOW FAR UP OR LOW WILL A STOCK LIKELY MOVE TODAY ?
**Likely Move Table** (plausible based on recent trends and Forecast Using Market Data)- This tell us what to expect from a stock or indices today. For example. Today we exoect a gain of around 0.5% from Allshare Index, while Aradel was excluded from our picks today as we expect a likely pullback from the stock

Ticker. LIKELY 15 Dec 12 Dec. Prior
AllShare Index +0.5% +0.00% + 1.00% +0.50%
PREMIUM. +0.8% +0.41%. +3.98% +1.20%
GTCO. +0.7% +0.20% +1.50% +0.80%
ZENITH. +0.9% +0.30% +2.89% +1.00%
ARADEL. -0.2% -0.10% +0.00% +1.50%
etc.

Invest and research like a farmer—patiently planting seeds for long-term harvest—rather than chasing the quick thrill of a hunter's immediate gratification.
A key factor to consider is NAHCO's ongoing diversification strategy, which strengthens its economic moat through expansion into high-growth areas: agricultural commodities export (via specialized cargo facilities and export processing centers that facilitate non-oil exports like perishables and bulk agro-products) and hospitality (including plans for hotel development and travel-related services).
This multi-stream approach reduces reliance on core ground handling while tapping into Nigeria's economic diversification priorities, positioning NAHCO for sustained growth and resilient returns.

Your head dey there @ " invest like a farmer".

If management can achieve their revenue target of N300 billion for 2029 @ a profit margin of 25% which is lower than their net margin in the 2024. That will give them a profit after tax of N75 billion or Earning Per Share of N38.50k.

They have a dividend payout ratio of 90% which will give a dividend per share of N34.60k
