No exactly the same thing. DR is coming to the market via a Public Offer and not a listing/suspension lifting where existing holders ruthlessly pump SP before releasing their holdings to unsuspecting investors. Similar thing happened after Transcorp reconstruction. tagonn077: |

pluto09:You can see it as half full or half empty, depending on which side you’re on. I guess you’re on the pessimistic side, so let me engage you. I think they are "close". The offer has been below its market value for quite a while, even throughout the initial offer period. That suggests the public is not as pessimistic; otherwise, the traded share price would have fallen below the ₦12.50 offer long ago, especially given that it has averaged about ₦172 million in daily turnover over the last 20 days. That said, I also admit that raising ₦235 billion is not easy in the current climate. |

Make kpakus finish PO. Na den una go understand what has been happening with its SP. Then we go know the true valuation based on market |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 4:19pm On Dec 17, 2025 |
Streetinvestor2:Lol, what is happening with the SP? Check their total traded value over the last 20 days and divide it by 20. Do you really think they’re manipulating it with that kind of money? For something that isn’t even certain, would you bring over ₦3 billion to manipulate an unsure deal? |

Willie2015:If the figure is absolute, it's nothing strange. N20 of 10 years' time might be worth same as just N2 of today, just as N20 of today is only worth slightly more than N2 of 10 years ago. |

First Bank on the beat. Just 20kobo to catch UBA at N39.8. With this surge in First Bank price it looks like a close above N40 this week and this year is likely. |
As I still dey fear to enter ABC to village, I say make I branch here..... this got me lol. Sis its well, plenty plenty wins ahead There's something every investor is still not looking at (aside "I told you so" ) NGX has a case to answer here ..... ** Why did they lift the suspension on Aso Savings in the first place? ** Why lift the suspension and place it again if they're not a party to robbing investors off? ** They seems to masterminded this luring people in ** Why did CBN not revoke this licence long ago? Or do they want to tell us it's oversight? ** Whose interest is CBN actually protecting? ** Whose interest is NGX/SEC actually protecting? ** Why can't CBN provide soft landing for investors by trying to see who can either merge or buy over the mortgage homes....just like the case of Unity Bank (like someone said) ? * I'm almost agreeing with Streetinvestor2 here that this is becoming a disgraced nation...... ** For the kind hearted ones that sympathize with us, may God bless you all. ** By God's grace, we will definitely weather the storm and come out stronger IJN. 🙏
|

ppogba:As long as Alhaji's issues are solved. Personally I don't care much about the small change 😁😁 If the refinery thrives and we keep buying PMS at 700, dollars at 1400 and reserves above $50bn I'll prefer those. Some of us are already hoping for single digits inflation prints before the next MPC meeting. Let them come and explain why they won't cut by 700bs if we're already having single digit inflation. The issues solved also mean the listing will be a huge success. |

awesomeJ:They keep saying the inflation is coming down and I wonder how. Then I remember u people say it has nothing to do with Current price and of goods and services in the market. I hope many of you are doing shopping for your families and other things for the festive period. I hope u are really buying quality things at cheap prices as inflation is coming down.Personal I always go for quality in things I buy for myself or anyone otherwise I don't buy if I don't have enough cash. Even the rice they say is cheap is not really cheap if u are going for good brand like redbull by chivita. Go check the price of red rice for 25kg.How much are children cloth India or Turkey. Maybe chinko ones are cheap. How much are quality foot wears.whr really is this Inflation coming down |
