Nigeria politicians don't know this tax thing will cause problem for them. Nigerians know they will continue stealing so this tax thing will make Nigerians press their necks at all levels of government. After taking 25% of your earnings na to carry Cutlass on those wey go steal with no conscience.
It changes nothing. They would steal the money and still use taxpayers money to hire policemen, soldiers and even thugs to protect themselves.

In an efficient system where production costs are kept below $12, brent at $50 wouldn't be such a big deal. Why the government feels it's okay to prouce at $45 nd sell $60 or less is what's concerning. Same country where SEPLAT report costs at around $12.

Now Tantita is all over Channels TV sending season's greetings when consumer companies like NESTLE aren't even doing as much. Can you blame them? They get over 10% of production for settlement in their funny security contract that could have been replaced with a much more cost effective one
Spot on!.
I didn't know SEPLAT reports costs at around $12 per barrel of crude. Interesting!

Like play, like joke, TANTITA has come to stay. Sooner than later, they may have a seat on FEC.
If a new govt. should give the contract to another firm, we hope there would not be another round of sponsored vandalization of oil pipelines.

That is why I said come to stay.

Vandalisation will be a child's play compared to the crude theft.

Great!
That means SEPLAT's production cost profile is similar or close to global benchmarks. Partly explains why they have remained profitable over the years.

Normally NNPC suppose reduce their stake in the assets that they are not making profit in. Go into JV with serious oil players and stop this nonsense of burning cash into something that is not productive or profitable.

With the number of techs we've in this present day, I expect more abandoned oil wells to be acquired and more OMLs and OPLs acquired by serious indigenous O&G players.

Trump wants cheap oil so don't bank on the crude oil price changing trend anytime soon. Nah volume go move the market in 2026 and those who have a significantly low cost of production will reap the benefits.

Yes sir.
The only problem is the current license type on most of the acquired Mobil assets. They carry very high tax rates, once they complete the license conversions, tax rates will drop, and earnings will surge

Trump alone cannot override the overall global sentiments in the oil market.
The biggest oil companies are American companies; they would not continue to sell at very low prices forever and incur losses that would make them go bankrupt, just because of Trump.

Good evening to the investors and traders in the house.

I have been on the lookout for when I would be credited my CHAMS RI that I applied for sometime in September but I hadn't gotten a clear response.

Something unusual occurred this morning, I received some cash on my bank account today with narration "NFT CHAMS RIGHTS 2025 RE/RETURN MONEY"

What could be the reason for this?
And when would my RI be credited my stock account?
Thanks as I anticipate your expert responses.

You are not alone.
Chams did what no listed company had done: returned subscribers' deposits with accrued interest.
Stanbic IBTC did not add interest to unallocated subscription fees during their rights issue.
