I applied as far back as july 23 , was supposed to resume September, but i didnt get a visa decision before the resumption deadline, so the school deferred my admission to January

Has anyone here used loans to relocate via study route? If so could you share your experience/recommendation

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences. Thank you.

No but your sponsor can notarize his/her own documents just to carry more weight or he/she should get it stamped at the police station that's if you're using a sponsor that's in Ireland

Hi guys Merry Christmas to all the loveliest persons in NL.

So I took IELTS exam for the first time last weekend and had an overall 6.0 with limited time to prepare.

Kindly find the picture attached for the score breakdown.

Please for those with Ireland travel experience or have passed through the academic processes, I want to know the possibility of getting an Ireland admission for MSc Cyber Security related courses and also visa approval with that band.

Which school should I consider in Ireland with a good hands on practical exposure to acquire the required tech skill because my academic pursuit in Nigeria didn't afford me that.

N:B- I have a computer science degree and Information Technology master degree too.
N:B: I have been declined US visa twice
N:B- I have travelled to Austria before for 5 days official assignment with a Nigeria official passport.

I was told that embassy requires minimum of band 5.5 for each aspect of the test. How true is this please?

If true, the first considerable option will be to retake the reading part with a view of getting the required score.

I don't have the funds for all of this but I have a brother in UK whom I am hoping to use as a sponsor.

What are my chances too on these?

Thanks for your response. In my case I got a scholarship for my masters research that includes full tuition waiver for the 2 years and a yearly stipend of 6900€, can the rest 3100€ be in my account (sent by my sponsor) and the rest 3100 euros for the second year be in my sponsors account
Can you explain more on this scholarship and choice of course, and the school you got the scholarship and how you got it?

I think for the education and employment gaps you need to attach your testimonials from all schools you went to starting from primary, then attach your employment letters from all your previous and current places of work and then add your ID card photocopy from your current.
I misplaced my original First School Leaving Certificate, however, i am able to see a photocopy if it, how do i go about explaining i lost it or what do i do in this situation pls?

Oh that's good for you then.
At least you have some time.
I live In Ireland and that's the school I attended. So I know quite few things about the school.
I know last year or 2 years ago they started April intake for some programs. I am not sure which programs though.
What program are you coming to DBS to study
I sent you an email pls

Seasons greetings everyone!

I submitted my application for january intake on october 13th. Still havent gotten any response.

My school resumes january 9th. I really do not know what my best options are at the moment.

Could someone pls advice on how to go about this
The best thing to do is to message the embassy to know what's happening, add your application number when messaging. Many of us haven't gotten a response from them but that doesn't stop you from emailing the embassy then make sure to message your uni/college explaining your condition and asking if there's another intake before September for your cause cause it seems a lot of us are going to differ our program. So make your findings and prepare

Compliments of the season!

I have an inquiry

If one applies for an ireland study visa and has adequate funds in his account after paying full tuition fees but was not working for about 2 months just before he submitted his application, and did not explain the employment gap in his SOP, could that affect his visa approval?

Just pray for grace and don’t stress too much. The outcome will tell cause we can’t all be too sure of all these things

Your feedbacks would be appreciated.
Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by bigmills: 3:20pm On Jan 01
Yes if you don't explain gaps, then expect refusal.

My advice would be write another SOP for Visa and send it to them as part of your application...
