This is rather drastic!

It should be recognised that not all parents are hindering their children's progress, and some parents are rearing their children to be successful. They after all feed us and educate us and nurture us, though many are doing the opposite.

What this sort of thread must teach us is that we should not become parents that hinder the progress of our own children.

The below is about girls, but for this thread please read it as applying to your sons and boys too.
