Nigerian men demand and expect submission and sex without responsibility so Nigerian women pester "test" you for money immediately from before even a date

But us? We treat them human, and dont demand or expect submission and let sex happen naturally 😂 they dont ask or pester us for anything until actually in a relationship

I was married to a yoruba woman. No traditions and lived in Nigeria "she passed away of cancer"

Now married to an igbo woman and still live in Nigeria

Both marriages, the women asked me for nothing, just love and pay the bills both made their own money

All that was/is expected of me is pay for the household + her personal maintenance "salons and stuff" other than that the marriage/marriages were a partnership

But your premise is still flawed because ALOT of Nigerian + Nigerian marriages are hitting divorce as soon as they leave the country now

How do you explain that? I make it clear i want to live in Nigeria that never hindered me so its not green card/visa or citizenship

And its not money, while I was dating i wasn't asked for anything until actually in the relationship

From my perspective the issue isnt men vs women

From my perspective its all the fraud from family and extended family in the wedding process AND it is fraud

— The ladies experience a working society where she can make enough money by herself without having to live under the roof of any man without discrimination. Now after experiencing this, why should she be limited when she can have everything? And just like the biblical forbidden fruit, her eyes are opened to endless possibilities so she can no more follow the traditional marriage pattern but want to explore.

If you were dating in Nigeria, then she was expecting you to take her with you to your country. That’s why I said clearly she would even fund your lifestyle to be with you. If you were dating abroad, she knows that if she plays that role she played back in Nigeria, many Europeans or Americans will frown at it and she might actually lose the man. So definitely she’ll value you. But here in Nigeria, even though she leaves the relationship— she has nothing to lose. So why should she respect the man?

A Nigerian lady love is tied to what do I stand to gain or lose? If she dates a Nigerian, she loses less no matter what you’ve done because there are other men that will give her more but if she is dating a foreigner, she loses more because she might not get another if she doesn’t change and sometimes might get deported that’s the reason why they stay longer when they marry foreigners than Nigerians.
