Omo one of the easiest country I know to enter as student na UK.
Once you get your POF, legit documents and fill write information, chance of approval is, 60%.
Those other countries go first frustrate person life sending documents to legalised, Apostille before they find mini excuses to reject.

Please I need answer urgently.

I know one guy that was given d exact same reason for refusal... One needs to do thorough research on the course u are going for to pass interview.... Study visa has now become 50/50... It is well

If you fail to do due diligence on the installement plan of your school, then na u know.
Especially opting for schools with cheap deposit and they always have an hidden enrolment fee.

The journey is now getting tougher my brother.

It is very easy to avoid interview or questioning round your study gap.

1. Provide a study gap explanation document (Share correct timelines and experience you got in each role. It should be relevant to your PG course).
2. Provide a Study Plan (What inspired you to select the course, the university, mention how 3 to 4 of the course modules applies to you, state your short and long career plan (This shows your home ties back to Nigeria).
Attach 1 or 2 recent reference letters.

The problem is people are using agents and they are not personalizing the application because they have so many clients.

They are even questioning people wey graduated less than 5yrs randomly what they have been doing after graduating.

How them expect people to save or self sponsor with £30k in a country lyk 9ja wey minimum wage is less than #100k monthly.

Just provide them with proof and I can guarantee you will be given.

Portugal finished me last year.
I got to vfs with my documents for biometric but only to be rejected because my docs are not legalized. The agent i used did not know anything about police certificate legalization at abiuja.

That was how i lost out from that appointment ooo, the booking is only opened twice in a year for just few mins lol.

Since then, i vowed never to use an agent

You can reapply but you need to prepare very well this time around.

Also, you need to properly re-write your study plan and any research proposal doc you may have for your mres.
How will that degree be useful to you in your home country after you return?
Prepare this document properly and have someone here review it for you (for free) before submission.

If your course start date is January, you can opt for priority visa. Just in case they request for interview, you can prepare and attend it within 2 weeks.

Mres visa applicants currently are not finding it easy... We don't even know d new law UK will introduce in 2026.... I will suggest you look for normal Msc options

You may be lucky not to be question?

After graduating 2024, do you have your NYSC or learning skills?
If not just give them honest answer of what you have been doing with proof.

You are not the only person experiencing that.
Once you submitted your application, people have been unable to track the status on VFS.

Honestly I’m not bothered about it, haven’t checked for days and just wanted to see if there’s a change in there.
