Mankind2024:Is it that when you guys exit companies, you blow the money Cos I don't understand. The TOTAL that I sold off at 576 (#64 paper loss), the proceeds have been put in other stocks where I've probably made over #100 profit. Why do you compare exits with a zero base ![]() ![]() ![]() ?? Aren't you supposed to first ask where he deployed the proceeds, then compare the performance he's gotten there to what Vitafoam is now offering. If he deployed to NCR at N27 for instance or EUNISELL or even BERGER at #35, would this your analysis still hold water. The fact that you don't even know to ask that fundamental question already show a huge gap in all these talks of premature liquidation you give. Maybe you're just saying the much you understand about the market sha. As long as it's done in good faith, who can blame you? |

Great business. But I'm scratching my head wondering how the company is growing sales an astonishing 35% per year (with flat gross margins, meaning it's volume growth, not just price increases) in this challenging consumer environment. The population is not growing that fast, so are we in a cyclical restocking of mattresses (say, every 10 years)? emmanuelewumi: |

Folks talking about crypto, it's more like a been there, done that for me 😎 up to N350m in a month when I had the time. Now it's this market we're committed to, and we'll see it grow. First to $100m in daily trades and ultimately to $1bn daily. But they need to build depth. Introducing CP listings is a good start, but it's still targeting the old folks mostly.

Baba, the two incidence are still not the same. The only thing similar to them is that there was a 'sell'. One sold a stock that was has not done well for many years, another sold a stock that has consistently paid dividends and has been having price appreciation over the years. Summary: Firstbank share and Vitafoam shares are not to be compared. Mankind2024: |

Mankind2024:I don't get the excitement on the vitafoam result. Bonus shares is not a return on investment. N3 dividend is about 3.3% dividend yield. Maybe you guys are seeing something I'm not seeing but there is nothing about that result to get one excited |

mikeapollo:I think it anchors on the latter than the former. Ghana is like my second home. Travelling between Nigeria and Ghana from 2009 to 2020 atleast twice a year - Teshie, Circle, Nungwa, Tudu, Kasoa, Lapas etc That inflation figure they are rolling out to me looks manipulated just as i am skeptical with the reducing inflation rate in Nigeria were the citizens are mostly not feeling the impact on ground. Also, i work with many Ghanians currently and they always lament about the economy |

This is why I stay within my circle of competence in the equity market. You saw a 3.3% dividend yield, while my dividend yield on Vitafoam is 38.46%—having bought at ₦7.8 in Q1 2021. The real gain is never in the buying and selling, but in the waiting. To cultivate this virtue, discipline coupled with patience is essential. The excitement is seeing the reward. nosa2: |

Shalom428:Is Ghana not relatively more stable than Nigeria in terms of SECURITY ? - Yes, they are but i have my reservation with this popular question. Which foreign investors go bring fund into a country with no clear policy. Investors love clarity - I totally agree with you on this Ghana's equity YTD is 132% while that of Nigeria is 55.9% . Is that a lie ? - Yes it did 132% but it is a very small market. Volume/depth is small. Nigeria's Ngx is bigger than the whole 14 other west african countries combined. On a lighter note ; Ghana dey go world , NFF dey struggle through backdoor to disqualify Dr Congo. Lol ... Yesterday, the chief of Nigeria supporters club said Nigeria is the only country without supporters club in the ongoing Africa Nations cup cos NFF said no fund ... Is that not laughable Well, we will try and fill the gap for them. I will be joining them in Casablanca by 5th Jan to support the Super eagles. |

is it not same Ghana that re-valued their currency by striking out 4 zeros or so from history. Yet their currency is currently just 1 cedi =₦130 Despite our devaluation. |

chimex38: ![]() Actually it will be hard to predict which city nigeria will play outside the group stage. The group stage ticket can easily be bought since there is a time table. I will be joining mostly at Quarter final, so if i buy ticket maybe for Rabat thinking Nigeria will be the lead in their group but latter becomes the second runner up playing in Tangier or Marakech ..... na handicap be that. So, i will just attend the match of any team playing in the city i will be on that particular day, simple. |

I see some post and i am like wow, rookie mistake. Been there, done that. I remember trying stocks like 10 years ago, I put in 1m and lost 40% of my portfolio value lol, then just sold them off. Guess what each of thhose stocks are doing over 500% from that time. I still have one (like 100 units) i forgot to sell and i kick myself every time i see it. I came back to stock investing this year (2/3 months ago) and i left those 100 units as a reminder. So far so good these are some things i have learnt (still learning). They have worked for me really well, you can give it a try or not 1) Never make a particular stock more than 25% of your portfolio value. It’s a good stop loss. 2) It is better to be in for the long haul, so buy companies with good financial fundamentals. Then give them time. I don’t plan on selling any of my buys in the next 5 years. 3) Make investing a habit. Come rain, come sun shine. 4) Don’t follow the crowd blindly, do your research! Please add yours |

Vote of Confidence in Vitafoam Nigeria PLC Management. As a proud shareholder of Vitafoam Nigeria PLC, I extend my heartfelt commendation to the Board and Management, led by Group Managing Director/CEO Mr. Taiwo Adeniyi, for their outstanding leadership and exceptional results in the financial year ended 30 September 2025. Despite a challenging and extremely difficult operating environment, the company delivered stellar performance, with revenue growing 35% to approximately ₦111.37 billion and profit after tax surging over 1,400% to around ₦14.3 billion. This remarkable recovery reflects strategic foresight, operational excellence, and resilient execution. I fully support, in advance, all resolutions proposed for the 64th Annual General Meeting scheduled for 5 March 2026, including the recommended dividend of ₦3.00 per share, the bonus issue, and other agenda items. Looking ahead, the future appears brighter than ever, with expanding distribution networks across Nigeria and neighbouring West African countries positioning Vitafoam for sustained growth and greater shareholder value. Well done, Team Vitafoam! Keep up the excellent work. |
