Its a red flag for me, I love pets and want them around. Even i can treat a goat as a pet But it is food at the end of the day. For cats, dogs, i wish I can have a cheetah. They are pets not food.

Feel free to teach me the meaning Noah... What you attached has no relevance with the topic. That people eat humans doesn't justify you treating others wrongly or maltreat them? Are you even reasoning at all Or you don't know people actually feast on human meat in this same country?

You don't have to be an animal lover to treat animals well. It is common human decency

Some people just don't like pets either due to fear or hygiene so you can't really blame your lover in that aspect. Rather than seeing it as a red flag, trying to make them comfortable with the pet. Atleast hope it's not a pet that doesn't like to share their owners with someone else.

you wanna know good people either male or female... look how they treat those very below them..see if they treat them with sympathy or empathy and there you gonna have your answer

Why is the owner of the pet going out there to date someone who is clearly not an animal lover as he supposedly wants us to believe he is? He is the one responsible for putting that pet in harms way by his refusal to fully vet his potential mates, ensuring he picks only from the pool of animal lovers and not from without. 😩😩

The "he" described in the OP is the major red flag here particularly where it concerns the peace of that animal. Dating someone who clearly does not regard animals is like dating a woman who hates children when you are yourself a father with children. She is not the problem...the man is. 🥱🥱🥱🥱
