I just wonder. The last I was in Awka for a wedding I could not believe it. Infact let me post some pictures I took on my way to Saint Father Cathedral Awka. Awka presently is being turning to a hospitality city. I could still see these Onitsha and Nnewi boys coming into the town for weekend trips.

I know this junction. Passed it on my way to teaching hospital July last year and it was hell. There's a market by the side. Capital oil and Ogbuawa's 6 storey building is around there. The road was very bad then. I'd like to see more of the road past the hospital and into the villages.

Am sure you will not recognise it anymore, because it has been reborn-ed and transformed all the way to Odumegwu Ojukwu road. The market has gone, that is where government cleared to give way for the reconstruction and beautification of the popular NNEWI TRIANGLE
