Genesis 18,
Abraham met with three visitors in the form of men,
where one of them was God (Yahweh) appearing in human form (a theophany),
and the other two were angels
who later went to Sodom;
the text clearly identifies the Lord speaking directly to Abraham,
though all three were initially seen as men, with the Lord remaining to talk to Abraham while the other two angels departed.


However, Genesis 18:1 says that it was “the LORD” (Yahweh) who appeared to Abraham. It is the LORD who speaks in
