The key take away I can share is that the ONLY way to hit regular 2K avg in geo domains is to buy a lot, I bought 100+ in a single month at Dynadot during promo.

Hire staff if you have to, outsource lead generation if you have to but you must scale the operations to make this a full-time gig.

One key take away for the 2025 was that Google is increasingly strict, even getting workspace accounts does not help - what helps is regular switching of email accounts - I have hundreds as I used to create unique email for each domain back in 2019. I have also reduced emails sent per day to as follows 50 new/day 50 ff/day even for accounts that are 4+ year old. Would also recommend regularly changing letters, subjects, email accounts, link/no link, $ vs USD and tiny things like that.

Also sharing some sales that I have not shared ANYWHERE as a token of thanks to this community, here's to an amazing 2026.

How my 2025 went.

Acquired 280 domains. (106 during one dot com $1.9/2 point something promo, while the remaining from Dreamhost, unstoppable and Z for $5). GEO/EMD. All hand reg.

I've probably worked on around 65% once and yet to work on 35%.

I worked on around 17 to 23 names monthly. Manual scraping and outbound.

Made 7 sales jan, 5 feb, 1 March, 3 April, May 0, June break , July 2, August 6, September 2, October 2, November 2, December 3.

Sold 33 total, all afternic lander. $369 average sale price. Sold only 2 from first email. The rest are offers which could even be at first email. While few are after price drops.

$12,179 before commission.
$9,326 after commission and expenses.

I price 988 for Geo while 1455 for EMDs. I send total of 4 to 5 emails follow up and stop at $300. I plan to do price drops to 150 or 100 when I revisit the domains for second round of outbound however I'll start from 988/1455

I counter or not to offers depending on the situation at hand.

Few tips that might help.

Utilize promos. I would have spent around $2,500 to acquire 280 names but it only cost me $1,117 or my $1,117 would have bought just around 124 domains. Good thing is that I still have domain to be busy on going to 2026.

If I see a niche, I check if there are cities or EMD available using namebright bulk searche. I Check if there are endusers. I find niche through sales reports, while scraping, or just when browsing/surfing the net or in my environment.

While scraping, you can sometimes find endusers email from their Facebook page. If no Facebook page or icon in the site, simply write "Facebook" in the front of the Business name or website in the search bar and search. It would bring out the Facebook page if there is one. Write " owner" or "leadership" if you want to find who the owner is.

Simple sales letter to control spam issues.

You can't just register 3 names and wonder why you didn't make 6 sales. Numbers is a big factor in this game. Register, work it and go to the next.

For every sale report you see, there are handful that didn't get sold.

In everything I use common sense, I evaluate options, consider pros and cons then decided what I prefer.

Everyones journey would be different because our creativity differs, information we have is different, how we assimilate and use information is different... Just do your best.

So I usually get DM from people asking if domaining is still lucrative considering I created this thread years back. 2016 precisely.

And this is my simple answer; domain names will continue to sell and wax more so far internet still exists and new companies continue to come up.

But things must continue to change in the domain industry reason you need to keep yourself updated and follow pros in the field already.

outbounding still remains one of the faster ways to get the buyer's attention then be active in follow ups too. This can't be rules out for a Newbie.

If you sell a domain, explore other keywords too before reporting the sales especially on Twitter. Some don't report because of this.

I remember my days of selling foreign currency keyword. One buyer. He has bought up to 5 from me already. I was excited. I reported the sales and many people capitalized on the keyword and sold some to the same man. One of my students told me he registered and sold one to him too after my report. That's very good.

Lol but the irony of it was that, after he bought 5 from me which I rushed and reported, I've compiled a list of 10 and sent to him which we already agreed on $1200 for all.

But when he begin to get multiple emails from several people saying they want to sell foreign currency keyword, he lost interest. So report sale if you can but before that, explore other keyword combination or city + that keyword before doing that.

Making consistent income from domaining is all about creativity, researching and outbound.. then grace too. Though many will disagree with this.

Sometime too I sold Florida crane service $250. I remembered this line; explore other alternatives. I quickly Googled what's the abbreviation of Florida. I saw it's FL.

And it worked. I registered FL craneservice and FL craneservices. I sold FL craneservice same day for $250. The plural later dropped because I don't like renewing.

So be creative and be ready to read if you want to go far in domaining.

Your names I must be honest with you aren't good.

I would have suggested you accept the offers you've gotten so far, and use it to buy new names.

Target names linked to geos and a type of service like miamicarrentals.com, manhattanflorist.com, manhattandentals.com and so on. People who live in those city and provide those services would like to purchase a domain name related to those services.

It is the easiest way to get started.

People don't want to read from page one to get the basics but they can afford to do 5yrs in Uni, 2 yrs Masters, 5years PhD 1 year nysc, 6 years primary school, 6 years secondary school. Yet, something that can change your financial trajectory forever you don't want to commit a year to learn. Some will complain of food, all these years spent on other things where did the food come from. Yet sometimes those other things, still didn't change your finances after all the years.

Instead of looking for shortcut, you can read smartly with dedication..for example read the intro to get the basics...skip to where the sales were hot..I too, didn't read the whole thread, but I read well enough, about 4 months or thereabout consistently before regging a name. Or choose some pros, and follow all their post.

What I have realised is that in your rush to start, you will buy worthless domain names, and when you have difficulty selling them, you will now start reading from page one.

That is how life works for a lot of people. Call it the school of hard knocks. You learn through from your mistakes.
