if Nigeria wants to generate as much as money as possible it can do that but every bureaucrats have a boss it settles, there are different cartels in every sector. Someone somewhere is collecting 5bn from an agency Because he norminated the person for the position, committees given billions of contracts to share not to execute or should we talk about cartels in the oil industry and mining infact the leakages is everywhere. Nigeria can get 80bn without sweat if these issues are eliminated. Yes it can raise that amount without sweat.....

This is not hearsay it happens or do you know there are expensive minerals mined in the north and those doing it are in elected positions, the illegality is too much.
While it is true all those leakages must be plugged and public revenue shored up. That will be enough to hit the mark

There are no countries in the world even half our size that is dependent on mineral export sales almost wholly to run their economy. Minerals commodity prices that are unstable can have damaging effects on such an economy. Taxation of income is the surest and most stable source of public funds.

To have similar revenue buffers like UAE, Nigeria will need to produce and export 70m barrels of oil daily, now we manage to produce1,7m barrels. Where is the market to absorb 70m?

I will never pay as long as it is not withdrawn from source. It is on record we don't pay tax in the North unless na u wan go do something and it requires tax clearance certificate. The north does not pay shishi. Na only local government money we dey pay.The tax guys they even fear to go many places. The north says they are not paying. All those government loans they gave under different schemes. How many was government able to collect back.Even traditional leaders told his subjects not to pay back all those poverty alleviation loans.Na for una lagos una go pay as u have been paying

From 1960 to date, the loot from the politicians and military is more than 1 Trillion dollars!

If the living politicians and military personnels return 50% of their loot;Nigerian forex reserve can get up to 400 billion dollars within a space of 2 years.

It's not too late to buy zenith Bank. It's also not too late to buy Ecobank (though I suspect full bid is coming very soon)

Since you don't have capital and you are not in the market I advise you, for your mental health, to log out and not look at the market.

From experience I know it is very painful to know what to buy and not have money to buy

If VFD group was able to raise the full 50b via the right issue and used the money as planned 2026 will be a banger.
Their ebitda tell an interesting story.
It's going to be more juicy if the interest rate cut happens steadily or aggressively.

The market has not done 60k deal since I started actie participation in 2018.

Anything above 30k, streams will start lagging.

And they sit inside A.C doing nothing, same way they're not doing anything about AIRTEL being stuck for the whole of 2025
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PETERiCHY(m): 2:40pm On Jan 05
HISTORY IS ABOUT TO REPEAT ITSELF
