How did China get to their current level.? It is through the efforts of the CCP. Can you say APC and PDP are like CCP?
China is made up of regions that compete in growth of their respective GDP’s. They do not operate a feeding bottle economy where money is collected by central government to be shared to regions like Nigeria share money to states from the centre. Each region struggles to make its money by producing things. That’s like each state in Nigeria actively working for the state to be attractive to people and businesses and making its money. And not waiting for money to be coming from a center even if the state is unproductive and contributing nothing to the prosperity of the Nation. That’s one of the reasons China got to its current level - internal regional competition at growing regional GDP’s through hard work.

60 to 70 percent of funds for capital projects is being embezzled in most states of Nigeria. In China ,99.9 percent of funds for capital projects is being utilized in all provinces or states of China. The major problem of Nigeria is the political class.

You can use market breadth as well.

At over 12x from yesterday, it's obvious the current momentum is massively green.

Good morning y'all. Please can we discuss how one can keep one's trading records for the purpose of tax filings. It will help if there are templates you could share.

But the same people will believe when Trillions are lost in a day and RED paints the week.

It does not matter what people chose to believe.
People may decided to sit on the sidelines and believe anything while others are making a fortune even if it is small " change" they are making.

yes.. I agree.
The breath is key to guide the ASI itself.

just Less than 8 loss and over 70 gains yesterday.

The ASI changes reflected the entire market (breath).

ROYAL EXCHANGE ASSURANCE (ROYALEX) – DAILY MARKET COMMENTARY
📅 Tuesday, 6 January 2026
Royalex closed the previous trading session at ₦2.00, advancing strongly from the prior close of ₦1.87, representing a notable bullish move. The stock recorded an estimated traded volume of about 2.1 million units, which, although moderate, was sufficient to support the price expansion.
The price move above the ₦1.90–₦1.95 consolidation band signals renewed buying interest and a shift in short-term momentum. However, volume participation remains below recent peak levels, suggesting that while buyers are active, broad market conviction is still building.
From a technical standpoint, ₦2.00 now stands as an important psychological and technical support. Holding above this level keeps the bullish structure intact. A successful defense of this zone, supported by improved volume, could open the way for a test of higher resistance levels.
🔑 Key Levels to Watch
Support: ₦2.00 → ₦1.90
Resistance: ₦2.05 → ₦2.10
A breakout above resistance will require stronger volume expansion. Failure to hold ₦2.00 may result in short-term consolidation back toward the ₦1.90 region, which previously acted as a demand zone.
Overall, Royalex remains constructive in the short term, with market attention firmly on volume behavior to confirm the sustainability of the recent price strength.
⚠️ Market commentary only. Not investment advice.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by kintus(m): 10:14am On Jan 06
We experienced a sustained market downtrend for over three months last year, from October to December. Against that backdrop, advising investors to exit after just one week of positive movement appears premature.

It is reasonable to encourage caution, particularly in uncertain conditions; however, issuing guidance that does not align with the prevailing market momentum may be misleading and, frankly, unhelpful.

Cheers.

Nothing really.

But from experience, when the market is rallying, it tends to go higher than expected.

Also, this rally may be a combination of the regular Q1 rally plus the santa rally not experienced last year. Thus, the rally may be sustained.

Also, as its a fresh year, many will likely FOMO in (both individuals and institutions) potentially fueling the rally.

Thus, you may want to carefully analyse the stocks you hold before cutting in a rush. A more pragmatic approach would be a staggered exit. This way, you exit partially while riding the bull. Hence, you won't completely miss out should price over-extend.

On the flip side, the Nigerian stock market is notorious for liquidity disappearance. That is, once the bull is over, many stocks may become fully offered. Hence, it is advisable to be on the watch to take profit (especially if you're not a passive investor). Typical example is the rally of insurance stocks in January 2025 (e.g SUNUASSUR) and the subsequent sharp reversal.

In conclusion:
If you're in the market, HOLD or exit gradually as the market is bullish. A good check may be to ask yourself the kind of results that the company can release or dividends that can be declared that will raise price further. Once prices are these high, it may be a good time to exit.

If you're not in, be careful of FOMO. Buy only fundamentally sound stocks that are still cheap in valuation terms. The rally will not last forever. I remember January 2024, the market was very bullish only to reverse aggressively towards month end and the following months of the quarter were quite bearish.

Those that entered late were punished. Many that didn't take profit in time regretted as well.

Sorry for the long epistle.

I had to carry newbies along as well.

Cheers!

As you are saying, no doubt fantastic levels of theft is one of the reasons of increased collective poverty, as evidenced by cases and recoveries from govt officials.

I am saying, lack of need for a state or region to be productive, not having each state GDP contribution to national wealth creation recorded - this opaque system of what each state is doing to grow the economy, makes states and regions very unproductive, while their governments still get money from the feeding bottle arrangement to steal.
