Hello Pig Farmers,

It’s been over a decade since I last wrote here. Between 2012 and 2015, I was very active—almost weekly—until “Nigeria happened” to our farm.

We disappeared and closed the farm.
To everyone who emailed me, commented, and reached out without getting a response, I sincerely apologise. One day, I’ll share the full story of what we went through—it’s a journey on its own.
That said, I’m happy to say we are back.

The farm is back on track, and I promise to carry you along with regular updates on what we’re doing. The fundamentals remain the same, but this time with improved systems and better genetics.

We’ve restocked with 10 sows and will soon resume artificial insemination using foreign semen. I’ll keep you all in the loop, and if this post gets at least 20 likes, I’ll start sharing pictures and weekly updates so we can learn and grow together, better pig genetics in Nigeria

Looking forward to reconnecting with this community. Let’s build again.

Hello Pig Farmers,

We have begun an Artificial Insemination (AI) program aimed at improving the pig breeds available in Nigeria. Stay tuned to our page as we take you along on this journey and share updates on how we are inseminating our pigs using PIC 337 and PIC 410 genetics to significantly improve our herd quality.
