https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/venezuela-us-talks-export-venezuelan-oil-us-sources-say-2026-01-06/ "Venezuela will be "turning over" between 30 and 50 million barrels of "sanctioned oil" to the U.S., Trump said in a social media post. "This Oil will be sold at its Market Price, and that money will be controlled by me, as President of the United States of America, to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States!," he added." |

Isn't it the responsibility of Airtel to consider a stock split rather than NGX bending the rules for them? awesomeJ: |

ojesymsym:I don't think you understand the root cause. Airtel isn't the stock with the highest price on the exchange. It's a problem that affected DANGCEM in 2024 as well. |

📈 ROYAL EXCHANGE PLC (ROYALEX) – STRONG BUY MOMENTUM 📈 Royalex closed strong yesterday at ₦2.15 on massive activity, with 6,670,000 units traded, clearly showing renewed market interest and aggressive accumulation. This volume is significantly higher than recent sessions and confirms that buyers are firmly in control. The strong close above key short-term levels suggests that ROYALEX is building momentum for another upward move, not a distribution phase. 🔥 TODAY’S MARKET EXPECTATION ✔ Positive Opening Bias: Yesterday’s strong close backed by heavy volume positions ROYALEX for a bullish continuation today. ✔ Immediate Resistance: ₦2.20 – ₦2.25. A clean break above this zone will likely attract fresh momentum buyers. ✔ Strong Support: ₦2.00 – ₦1.95 remains a solid demand zone, showing buyers’ willingness to defend price dips. ✔ Volume Signal: High volume without price rejection often indicates smart money accumulation, not exit. 📌 Intraday Expectation: If volume sustains, price may test ₦2.30 – ₦2.40 today. 📅 OUTLOOK FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK 📊 Trend Strength: ROYALEX remains in a bullish trend structure, supported by rising moving averages and positive momentum indicators. 📊 Room to Run: RSI is still healthy, suggesting no immediate overbought pressure. 📊 Weekly Projection Zones: Bullish Target: ₦2.40 → ₦2.55 Support Zone: ₦2.05 → ₦1.95 Breakout Confirmation: Sustained close above ₦2.30 With the stock still well below its historical highs, upside potential remains attractive, especially as traders rotate into active, liquid names. 🚀 WHY ROYALEX LOOKS ATTRACTIVE NOW ✅ Heavy volume confirms strong participation ✅ Price closing strong — not fading ✅ Technicals aligned in BUY territory ✅ Breakout structure forming ✅ Suitable for short-term traders and swing players Royalex is showing classic accumulation behavior — strong volume, firm close, and stable support — all pointing toward continued upside pressure. 💡 TRADING GUIDE ➤ Buy on mild pullbacks around ₦2.00 – ₦2.05 ➤ First targets: ₦2.30, ₦2.40 ➤ Extended target: ₦2.55 ➤ Protective stop-loss: below ₦1.90 🔔 Keep ROYALEX on your radar today and through the week — momentum is clearly building. | Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ojesymsym: 9:25am On Jan 07 |
Maybe I don't understand the root cause but if I think I understood you, you were saying the 100k rule is preventing the stock price to move up or down. At its present price, the amount required to achieve the 100k volume is large. Seplat also suffers from something similar even though that one moves in baby steps. Or is there more to it? awesomeJ: |

ojesymsym:Yes there's more to it, and I've mentioned it here before The same AIRTEL shares currently sells for over N7000 in London, and you expect anyone to be willing to sell at 2k in Lagos? So every Airtel share you sell in Lagos, you're selling at 5k below market value. If all that's needed for a price movement is 1k units, people can easily sacrifice N5m to move the price, but at N100k units, why would anyone willingly burn N500m ![]() |

SonofElElyonRet: Rather, the stock will rise on His second coming. We understood it differently. It's a perspective thing. |

Raider76:You're commenting without context. A market that leaves a stock stuck at an unrealistic price level for a whole year is inefficient, that's what you need to first understand, then you can comment. |

My Stockbubble guy. Is there is a menu prompt on your site that allows view for stocks in Red, Green and Neutral? It will be good if such feature is added. |
