I want to ask after submitting documents at vfs must one get an email from ukvi confirming it has gotten to them because I have been seeing people here saying they haven’t even gotten the mail from ukvi confirming their visa is being processed after submitting at vfs

I did biometrics on the 16th of December... I never got any response from them till yesterday wen I did a paid email... From the response I got,, its awaiting decision...

U can maybe try a paid email if u want UKVI to shake ur email faster

Omo it seems this their new system need more time ooo.the feedback now means people just get different issues with their services. At least they suppose to send confirmation email so people no go they worry?

Guys is this delay an isolated incident to those that did their biometrics in ikeja and is this delay normal like this, and what is going to happen if they don't respond and school resumes, can one still travel after resumption or all is lost

You can may be 2weeks after resumption.
Try to speak to your Uni about latest resumption date so you know if to go ahead or not.

They just contacted me to rate their service and give suggestions to improve... I told Dem to be giving regular weekly updates and also for those awaiting decision they can tell us how much percentage close to decision weekly like this week 40%, next week 70% close to decision,,it will reduce d anxiety... But dat 2 months silence they give is terrible

As far you smile 😀. I know the waiting is tiring.
Even some applicant go they blame themselves if na because of excess information or documentation provided.

As far all are genuine, it may take long but na goodnews go come out

Not all received the confirmation email within 24hrs.
Some receive theirs 5days after submission and received collection email 2days after it.
The koko na to receive collection email on time my Sis

E b say them get technical issue. Make everybody sha put mind on 4weeks jare.
Some even get collection mail less than 5days.

Stubbornness full their body oo..I'm supposed be on campus tomorrow but they want to complete 15 working days not considering my resumption...
I think for those of u resuming in February,,just chill oo,,bkos most of their attention is on those resuming this week and next

I see a lot of people asking this sort of questions here, when they asked you to provide the source of the money… submit the bank account where you transfer the money from, maybe your dad’s or from your savings.

If this money is from untouchable loans then don’t bother

Yes, 4 weeks of working days. Meanwhile, you have to be patient this is peak period just like someone said, a lot of applications will be attended to at the moment, the holiday period is also a setback.

You still get other senior applicants.
Am sure they will roll out more collections email as they won't want student to be OYO as some university may not welcome them coming late.

Once Nov & first week of December collect their email, make una share una testimony and organise party 💃because it worth celebrating 😁

Do you know why they waited? Was there any reasons for the wait? Cos I know someone in same situation, he was only asked to pay additional IHS fee even though he paid before, they said it wasn't enough, ever since then, Silence 🤐
